Chapter 13 ~ Welcome To New York

Leo's POV

It has been 3 days since I last saw Emma. I missed her a lot. I didn't break my promise to her and I called her every day. I would try to talk to her as long as I could which wasn't very long because of how busy I was but it was still nice to hear her voice. I guess I've never really missed someone before. I've gone on so many trips before without my girlfriends in the past but I've never felt like I truly missed them. I know that might sound rude but I guess it was true, but with Emma, I just wanted to go back to LA to go see her. I couldn't wait to come back and see her and to spend time with her.

I came to New York with my mom and Leah. I didn't want Leah to come but she wouldn't shut up about wanting to come to New York. I couldn't stand her talking about wanting to come so I gave in. I didn't see her that much because of how busy I was so it wasn't too bad. I've been so busy with SNL and other things that I didn't have much time to spend doing other things. SNL takes a whole week to make an episode. On the first day, we spent some time rehearsing for all the episodes, and the other 6 days we made them perfect for Saturday to perform them live. It was fun doing SNL though. Claire Danes was doing something's with me which was nice. I and her were hanging out a lot in New York because of rehearsals, "So did you find yourself a new girlfriend?" Claire asked while walking out of rehearsals with me

"I'm not too sure," I said while walking by her, "She told me a couple of days ago that she liked me," I could feel myself smile

I could feel her look at me, "You seem like you like her."

"Yeah, I really do like her. I don't know but I've never met a girl like her before. She's amazing. I'm hoping we start dating soon."

"I think you'll probably date her soon," She paused, "Isn't her name Emma?"

"Yeah."

"I've seen so many videos of you guys. I swear like every other video is a video of you 2."

"Really? I'm never really on my phone that much so I don't see. What kind of videos are they?"

"Umm, most are just people upset that you got yourself a new girlfriend," she laughed, "I think they're a bit jealous of her. They don't really say anything bad about her but you can tell that people are upset about it. There's also so many videos of you guys making out," She laughed at me

I rolled my eyes, "I wish I never kissed her that day we went shopping. She told me pretty much that I hurt her feelings but I didn't mean to. I still feel bad."

"People, are over that one," She playfully hit me, "There's a new one about you kissing like 5 days ago," Claire said

"What?" I said while being confused

"Yeah, I'll show you," she smiled while pulling out her phone. She stopped walking and looked up the video. I looked at her phone and watched it. It was me and her at her house the night that I dropped her off from being with my friends. Emma seemed happy by the look on her face and so did I. I didn't look at myself at all, I just looked at Emma. She looked so pretty that night and all I could do was smile.

"Why was someone filming us outside her house?" I asked

"That's a bit wired," Claire said, "I bet it's one of her neighbors but still that's wired."
