"Are you asking me to move in with you?"
He nodded affirmatively, "Yes, to live with me."
"Is it really possible for me to stay with you?"
"Absolutely," he replied, a warm smile spreading across his face, revealing his bright, white teeth. "We can have cozy movie nights complete with popcorn and all your favorite treats."
He noticed the sparkle in her eyes at the thought. He was well aware that his aunt had strict rules about late-night movies and snacks. It seemed his careful observations had finally paid off.
"We could play board games, card games, or even a fun game of hide and seek if that makes you happy. We can do anything you want", he continued, casting out the enticing offer.
All she needed to do was take the bait.
"Your adorable stuffed animals are eagerly waiting for you, along with some other surprises."
"Other surprises?" she asked, her excitement bubbling over as she bounced lightly on her feet at Richard's words.
"Art supplies and puzzles," he added with a grin.
"Wow, can I really have all of that?" she inquired, her curiosity piqued.
"Without a doubt, it's all yours already."
He leaned closer, his lips nearly brushing her ear.
"All you need to do is say yes."
"But, I can't..."
