The trio went inside the gates of their new school and went through the crowded reception, where everyone was queuing up to receive their new timetables which also listed their homerooms and new teachers
When it was finally their turns, they were assigned a school counselor who gave them their respective timetables.

On receiving their timetables, the friends looked over each other's shoulders at the other's timetable to see which class set their friends were in. Muichiro was in the same class set as the inwardly smiling girl, who was bursting with joy at this revelation since it meant that she wouldn't have to sit alone in all the classes when her best friend will be there by her side. The class set system divides students into classes according to their academic abilities, A is the top while D was the bottom. (Inosuke is in D) Muichiro also had the same Homeroom as Y/N, meaning that they could stick together for the whole school day for the whole year.
I can't believe it ! They actually put me in the same set as Muichiro-kun!!! That's awesome!
Muichiro smiled at Y/N's barely concealed happiness and rejoiced inwardly with her. 'I'm so happy I get to be in the same class as Y/N-chan...'
They then walked to their Homeroom, room 101, together.
2nd person POV:
Upon arriving at the room, the first thing you saw was a large bunch of people, all with their heads turning to face you and Muichiro as you walked in. Being an introvert, you hated to be the centre of attention so you quickly darted behind your best friend, who was considerably taller than you. "Again?" Muichiro asked, exasperated at your over-the-top shyness. "Ugh, let's just go inside."
Upon entry, you saw the gloomy shade of a person called Yuichiro sitting by himself in the darkest corner of the classroom, a black and terrifying aura emanating off of him, warning anyone who passed by to back off. That boy really was scary. No one dared to cross no-man's land to get to where he was sitting. Which was good. That way, you and the Tokito twins could all sit in a quiet little corner by yourselves, which suited you perfectly, but Muichiro just grumbled when he saw his twin and dragged you to a brighter bit also similarly deserted corner of the room, causing you to bump into a few desks in his haste.
Seriously? What's up with them today?
But before you could even say a word about it, the schoool bell rang and you had to sit down beside your best friend while the teacher introduced herself and went through the school rules with the class. You had the Japanese teacher, Miss Kanroji, as your homeroom teacher. She was very nice and was probably the prettiest woman you had ever seen in your entire life.
The rest of the morning went by like a flash as each of your teachers came into the class, introduced themselves and distributed textbooks to you. You found that high school might actually not be so bad after all, with so many nice teachers and your best friend with you every day.
At lunch, you put your new books into your newly assigned locker and went to the dining hall with Muichiro and a few friends he made and also some of your friends from your old school. There was Tanjiro, Kanao, Aoi, Genya and Zenitsu from your old friend group and of course, Yuichiro since he always tags along, along with Kiki, Anya and Damien, whom you just met.

Ps am thinking abt writing another story called the Mist of My Past Life (edit: The Star Which Guided Me Through the Mist and it'll be from Muichiro's PoV) it's gonna be set in the Taisho era and it will be the prequel to this. However, i have to finish writing this story to start a new one so I might not start writing it until next year.
