sofias pov
it was the next day and i could not get rid of the puffiness around my eyes. the morning after a thirty minute long crying sesh is like a hangover to be honest. i lifted my legs off of my bed at the ripe hour of 5 am. there were only 3 classes on my schedule today but one of them had a girl in it. a particularly hot girl. i'm not sure what her name was i think it was Ashely, yeah that's it. anyways i had to make sure my makeup didn't look like trash. i stood up and put on some socks, that shockingly were gifted by paige when we hit our one month anniversary. i'm so stupid of keeping them. as soon as i was fully up, so was my hair. i put it ina messy bun and slouched my way to the bathroom. i began to wash my face and brush my teeth, nika was still asleep so i couldn't play any music to get ready to. after doing my skincare i pulled out my makeup bag from under the counter and hummed to myself so that i wasn't sitting in silence.
after sofia was finished with her makeup she rummaging through her drawers trying to find a good outfit. she felt embarrassed that she was doing all of this for a girl she's never met or even made eye contact with. after choosing out a pale green top and black cargo sweatpants out she layed them on her bed along with a pair of converse. by now it was 6:30 am so now the girls would be getting up, at least the ones who had to get ready for the day. after she set her clothes out sofia went back to the bathroom and washed her hands before prepping her hair supplies. she left the bathroom again and began to take her pajama top off. usually she wouldn't be able to get changed around someone even if they are asleep but nika was fine for that kind of stuff. sofia took her silky shorts off and walked over to her bed lifting the outfit she previously set out up in the air to get a better look at it. as she was examining the top someone knocked at the door.
"nika? you asleep?" paige said from outside the very gently shut door
sofia was too zoned out to hear paiges soft spoken question. paige took that as a signal that she was able to go in. sofia's neck snapped to the side and she pulled the top to her chest trying to cover her half naked body. paige gasped and quickly spun around.
"crap!sorry!" paige said before covering her mouth. paige stood in the doorway for a good 10 seconds before sofia whispered yelled. "get.out." paige rushed out and back into her room. she proceeded to bang her head on her desk out of guilt. "shoot.shoot.shoot.sho-" paige said to herself before azzi interrupted her. "it's 6:34 i'm trying to sleep, why are you causing an earthquake with your head" azzi said groggily. paige stood up smashing her hands on her desktop. she started flailing her hands around and explained what happened. "so basically i ran into sofie while she was half naked and i kind of liked it!" paige said before covering her mouth after realizing what she said she might've said a bit too loudly. azzi's jaw was on the floor at this point. paige was pacing the room with her hands on her face. azzi stood up and rubbed her forehead thinking of what to do. she grabbed paige by her shoulders and stopped her in her tracks then sighed. "just. take this as an opportunity to talk to her. maybe unblock her and be like 'hey sorry for this morning i thought nika was up' then boom you guys can talk" paige swayed her head side to side in disagreement "nope i cant". azzi shut her eyes with a hint of annoyance.
meanwhile sofia was stressing even more now. her ex just walked in on her half naked, it's already 6:50, and nika (her only ride) was still asleep even though her class started at 7:15. sofia speed walked around the entire house asking every girl if they could drive her but they either didn't feel like getting up, they were asleep, or they already left and of course sofia didn't want to be annoying so she didn't wake anyone up. the only people up were paige,azzi,inês, and ice. finally sofia calmed herself down and took a couple breath. she checked how long it would take to walk to campus. she whispered to herself "if i walk then it'll take thirty minutes then i'll be 15 minutes late but i cant do that because then ashle-" sofia was stopped when she felt a tap on her shoulder. she turned around to see the tall blonde standing behind her. her eyes widened.
"hey." paige says avoiding eye contact
