It was only a couple weeks after me and Paige had gotten back together so I have no idea why she was being so rude and pissy towards me and why almost everyone was following along. But I do know that I will be dancing tonight hopefully not with her.
Sofie put on a black tube top and a matching mini skirt. She paired the outfit with black pumps and a black purse while leaving her hair down. Sofie took a couple pictures before leaving. She decided to catch a ride with nika instead of the other girls. "So what's going on with you and paige huh? You guys haven't been talking" Sofie turned to look at Nika as she buckled her seatbelt. Sofie shrugged her shoulder and reached down to tighten her shoes. "Don't ask me Neeks barely anyone has spoke to me since before the game". Nika nodded and pulled up the address on her phone before pulling out of the driveway.
Once everyone arrived at the party address they all immediately started getting drinks. There was a sense of relief that went through Sofies mind as she felt a bit more relaxed and free now that she was around a little more people that she could start conversation with. Sofie went to buy herself a drink but before she could hand over her card a veiny hand went to grab her card from her own hand. Sofie looked up to find a complete stranger of a man sitting next to her attempting to buy her drink. She glared at him before taking her card back and completing her purchase. The bartender handed her the drink she sofie ran off to the table that the girls were surrounding. While a couple girls were standing and a couple were sitting Sofie decided to pull up a chair since the booth was pretty small. "Guys a weird ass man just tried to buy my drink" Sofie said trying to laugh it off even though she was first of all clearly being ignored and second of all really creeped out by the man. The group continued talking and laughing about whatever drunk thought antue we're having 10 minutes into the party. Sofie let out a long sigh and grabbed her drink before leaving the booth. As she made her way to the dance floor she saw her girlfriend leaning on a wall talking to a short red head.
My heart almost dropped to my stomach at the sight of Paige practically flirting with another girl. I noticed my hands started to shake but I pulled myself together quickly. I walked up to Paige and this red headed stranger with confidence and tried to intimidate them. "Paigeee who's your friend here huh?" Paige's face turned paler than her actual skin tone. I could already see a bead of sweat dropping down her forehead. "Oh uh this is Liliana" the blonde stuttered in between her laugh and glanced at the redhead a couple times. I scoffed quietly "Nice to meet you Liliana, I'm Sofia, Paige's girlfriend." I glare at Paige sternly as a couple more droplets of sweat ran down her cheek. Liliana's expression changed from red to even redder. A fake smile was plastered on her face. "Very nice to meet you sofia. could you give me and Paige a moment to talk" Liliana said with a sense of worry in her trembling voice. Before she could leave with Paige I grabbed onto Paige's wrist. "That won't be necessary heh" i quickly dragged Paige into the nearby hallway and outside of the party. "Are you fucking serious Paige." I had tears in my eyes whilst I tried to keep stern and calm. Paige couldn't even look at me at this point. She stayed silent as I yelled at her. "Who the fuck is Liliana huh? Did you get bored again?" Paige's eye were still glued to the floor. I grew more irritated at her ignoring me than I was in the first place. "Paige fucking answer me! You can't give me the silent treatment because you fucked up again" As those words left my mouth the tears came to. I shoved my face in my hands and kept my body faced to Paige. Still no words left her mouth. I sucked in my inner bottom lip trying to not become a sobbing mess. "Fuck you." As I said those words I pulled off the hoodie of hers that I had worn over my shirt. I threw the hoodie on the floor and stormed back into the building. Still letting out silent sobs I rushed into the bathroom. Soft and muffled cries escaped my mouth that was only covered by my hand. The tears sealed in between my fingers along with mascara. As hard as I tried to quiet my sobs I guess someone still heard. The bathroom door opened aggressively hitting the wall behind it. A couple girls walked in laughing and stumbling around before they locked eyes with the mess that I was right now. It was Caroline, Aaliyah, and Aubrey. I tried wiping away my tears but they were already huddling around me doing the complete opposite of how they were acting before the game. "Oh my god what happened Sof?" Caroline pulled away from the hug she was giving me and looked into my eyes with a softer stare. I fumbled over my words, choking on my own tears. "I caught Paige- I caught Paige flirting with another girl and i tried to talk with her but she-" Before I couldn't finish I bursted back into tears. "Ok ok it's ok c'mere" The girls pulled me back into a tight hug. Aubrey grabbed a couple paper towels for me to blow my nose into. "Come on, i know it'll be hard but let's just go out and dance and drink and hopefully we can deal with this whole situation tomorrow ok?" Aaliyah held onto my hand with a soft grip and led me out of the bathroom to the dance floor. Even thought i wipe most of the mascara off of my now puffy red skin, Nike could still tell that I had been crying. At this point I didn't even care where Paige was, what she was doing or how she was going to get home, I didnt been want to see her again. Nika wrapped her arms around me rubbing my back softly which did comfort me a little bit. I let the music flow into my soul and fill me up instead of tears and sadness. As I danced for a little bit I felt a pair of hands wrap around my waist. I quickly turned around to find a complete stranger holding onto me. She moved my hips against her waist to the beat of the music. It felt so wrong to be grinding against another girl that wasn't Paige but again she basically cheated on me 2 weeks into the relationship so fuck it. The random girl pushed my ass against her hips a little harder. I leaned my hand back against her chest close enough to whisper in her ear. "What's your name?" I got close enough to feel her breath run against my ear. Her eyes were olive green and her hair was longer than mine but she had it in a slicked back ponytail. "Amber, your Sofie right?" my eyes grew confused. "How do you know my name?" Once the music began to stop her hands let go of my hips and spun my around to face her. She pulled me in and whispered close to me. "Paige would talk about you a lot."
