The Sunset [21]

"Y/n come out I know it's you. What? Already scared?" I heard her chuckle from the other side and I could also feel her smirk.

"Lisa g-go away please leave me a-alone" I begged as she started banging on the door this time and I was crying so much. Suddenly, a phone started ringing and I heard Lisa pick it up and start speaking.

"Yeah......Shit get him out of there!......If he doesn't come out alive you're all dead.......I'm coming but make sure he's not dead." Cutting the call I hear her sigh.

"It's not over yet Y/n let me tell you. I'll make sure to take revenge for what you did. I'll make sure to make you want to regret being here". I hear her slowly start to leave as her footsteps start to get further and further away and the loud sound of the door closing also indicating her exiting.

Letting out a sigh of relief I unlock the stall and slowly peak out the door to find the bathroom empty. Sighing for the last time I make my way to the sink and wash my face with the cold water before looking into the mirror and seeing my broken figure with my red puffy eyes along with my red nose.

Looking down I try to hold back the tears threatening to fall out, I wipe my face dry and walk back out the bathroom while immediately plastering a smile on my face.

"Sorry to keep you waiting" I smile towards them and start eating my food again but instead being a bit more quiet than before.

Taehyung's POV

I watch as Y/n comes back from the bathroom with a smile. Which also makes a small smile appear on my face but then I notice her slightly swollen eyes as she sits back down next to me. I shrug off those thoughts and start eating again.

But I notice that Y/n wasn't talking much after coming back and that the smile never left her face. It didn't look like a genuine smile now that I think about it, it looked more like a forced one if you ask me.

I couldn't help but get the thought out my head of maybe something happening to her while she was in the bathroom but I decided not to ask since it didn't seem like the time to ask her. We finish our food and leave after paying.

We decide to take a walk and I watch as the sun begins to dip below the horizon, its rays stretching out like a last embrace, before it retreats into its slumbering place.

Admiring the beautiful sunset I take a glance towards Y/n only to see her zoned out.

Y/n's POV

"Y/n you alright?"

I shift my head to take a look at Taehyung who's walking beside me at the very back so none of the others could hear us.

"Yes I'm fine."

He looks at me for a couple of seconds before hesitantly nodding. As we're walking, I try to get my mind off of things and look over the left to the sunset dipping in the horizon. What I don't notice until now was that my hand kept on brushing against Taehyungs'.

I feel some sort of giddy feeling inside my stomach thinking about our hands touching. Like some sort of butterflies dancing around. A small smile creeps up my lips at the thought of that but suddenly I feel something warm wrap around my hand which makes me turn my head with slightly wide eyes.

I look down at our intertwined hands before looking back up to see a smile slowly make its way to his lips but he immediately composes himself once he realizes I'm staring at him and comes back to his normal form.

I look ahead with my eyes still big and look back down. I was feeling very excited for some reason. This feeling was new, and I didn't know what it was. What is this feeling?

I sense his thumb rub over my hand in a comforting manner which made me secretly smile and blush. His hand fit perfectly in mine even though mine was smaller than his big veiny long finger. His hands were very warm and it's what gave it more comfort.

I abruptly stopped when my head hit the back of someone's back. Jungkook turns around and chuckles before giving me a soft small.

"Sorry." I apologize.

"It's alright."

I smile back at him before it falters away when I realize I was still holding hands with Taehyung. I immediately let go of his taking him by surprise.

I slowly feel the warmth of his presence disappear which made me a bit sad. His hand that fit perfectly in mine wasn't there anymore and I had this feeling of safety around his warm aura.

Even though he may be cold from the outside, I would feel safe around him and notice the warm aura he had around him.

"We're here."

I look at where Jungkook points and a gasp leaves my lips when I see the orange sun disappearing into the sea and the beach's sand glowing an orange glow. I hear a chuckle from Jungkook before we all head to the sand and sit down on it.

I sit between Taehyung and Jungkook as the others also take a seat. Bringing my knees upto my chest, I gaze at the breathtaking view as a smile unexpectedly begins to grow bigger, I forget all the uneventful things that happend today.

I take a quick glance to my left to see the most beautiful and mesmerizing boxy smile. His eyes were sparkling watching the waves dancing around and the sun descending.

The same feeling erupts in my stomach, the giddiness coming back. He suddenly turn towards me and I swear I felt my heart do a flip.

He looks at me and I look back. He slightly smiles before looking back at the sunset.

"It's beautiful."

My eyes widen a bit and I stare at his side profile.

"I-It sure is."

Feeling weight land on my left shoulder, my eyes widen but my smile immediately overtakes it and I don't turn but just admire the sunset with the others and..........Taehyung.

(A/N): I'm not very happy with this chapter. I'm sorry if this wasn't good enough but I promise It'll get better once this romance stuff is done😭.
