I told Taehyung everything, I couldn't keep it any longer. I have been staying away from everything and everyone for so long to the point where it was starting to effect my mental health but I couldn't do this for any longer. I trusted him, he was always there for me when I needed him and he was always a good listener just like Jimin. But I want to keep this only between us, I don't want the others to find out just yet.
After I told Taehyung my whole story, he suggested that we skip school and go out to eat together which I didn't refuse. I needed some time to refresh my mind, and what better way than to do it with him.
We managed to escape from school without being seen as Taehyung began guiding us to a little cafe. We were walking in silence, I didn't know what to say after my intense storytelling so I just kept silent and so did he. It was more of like a peaceful silence that I needed, a comfortable one.
We arrived at the cafe and entered it, I followed Taehyung to an empty table for two as we both sat down. The atmosphere was different, not awkward but different.
I avoided as much contact with him as possible. After revealing my biggest and darkest secret, I didn't know what reaction to expect for him.
What if he thinks of me as a murderer?
What if he also sees me as a monster?
What if he hates me and blames me like how...she did?
I'm broken from my chain of thoughts when I feel a warm, comforting hand place itself on mine.
I look up to meet with his gorgeous brown orbs, shinning under the sun coming through the window. His tan skin giving an amazing orange glow under the sun along with his shiny silky soft hair being the shiniest hair I've ever seen.
He gives off a gentle smile and comfortably moves closer to me.
"You have nothing to worry about, hmm? I'm here, I'll protect you. And don't think I'll call you a murderer like how she did. Through my eyes, you're nothing close to that horrible word."
I feel my heart begin to slowly race at his words and I felt little butterflies dance in my stomach.
A soft smile makes it way to my lips as his thumb makes contact on my skin, wiping off the lone tear that unknowingly escaped my eye.
I'm really grateful to have him, I never had anyone to trust after that incident so it was very hard for me to gain back the capability to trust someone.
But I know for a fact that I was careful with whom I trusted and if the only person I would risk trusting would be Taehyung, then I know I won't regret it.
A figure holding a menu, suddenly appears and asks for our orders which we kindly tell him.
After he leaves to get prepare our food, the different atmosphere from earlier, was now a warm one because of Taehyung's comforting words.
When our food arrives, we quietly eat it and once we're done, we leave the restaurant and decide to take a walk around the beautiful city of Seoul. Since it was almost sunset, the city looked even more prettier with the orange glow it had.
Walking in complete silence, I was lost in my own thoughts, that's until a sudden ringtone is heard and Taehyung immediately pulls out his phone, looking at the caller id before answering with a sigh.
"Hey hyung"
My eyes still stuck to the concrete footpath, I hear almost inaudible mumbling through his phone as Taehyung sighs again and hmms every few moments.
