Nick pov

If I say it's easy to do doctor's studies then I lost my mind.. i took this as a mere interest towards helping people and also because of pressure from my grandparents. Don’t get me wrong I wanted this but the pressure was too much sometimes I barely sleep and I study almost all day, no time to spend with myself or do partying...let me tell you some interesting things about myself

Hey lovelies I am nick an Indo- American but I grow up here as long as I remembered, 21 years young and charming guy and an introvert with good flirting skills. Both my parents had love marriage. They are my inspiration even though they usually busy don't have much time to spend with me because they own companies around the world which needed their attention. So I grown up quite alone so music and books became my buddies..don’t get me wrong I am not a book worm, I do have friends but we are not that close enough except James my bestfriend who is doing MBBS along with me but he travels a lot , lucky guy

After high school I got a seat in one of the top university in California because of my high GPA which I am glad cause I studied a lot... having house full of doctors and engineers are no joke cause they expect you to be on their league ...i am music lover, which is very helpful to keep me sane in this present life I am in

My semester exams are almost done by tomorrow

Ugh my head 🤕. Sighing I look at clock just to curse myself again cause I skipped two meals today. Its already midnight so I went down to make cold coffee for myself. Just one more day then exams will be done. You can do this nick, come on.. after few hours I heard my phone notification, I opened to look thinking it might be important but

Nick- okay drama queen. I know what is it about, you didn’t study again. did you?

My idiot- yes you know me so well, now help me

Nick- fine but you should change this habit idiot and check I sent important notes

With that I kept phone aside and did my last revision.

Time skip….
Finally exams are done and we have winter Holidays now and James is out to explore the world. As per what he said his next country is india, due to my mom I know few things from india but I never visited india but I plan to but now I need sleep.. aish I miss my bed, I went to get freshen up, laid on bed and sleep took over me instantly

Next day

Its nice weather so I thought why not go and enjoy in garden area. I quickly went to garden along with my guitar buddy. Its been a while, I never got this much free time these months because of my studies. I play different chords before I started playing one of my favourite song – Perfect

I stopped in middle as I heard notification which I am sure its from james. I opened to find that he reached India and enjoying there. This guy spamming my chat box by sending all his pictures and asking me to install Instagram at least for these holidays. After a lot of requesting, threatening, his drama queen poses I finally agreed. My world always revolves around music and books so it will be new experience. It started to get more windy I guess it will rain soon so I went back to room and watch movies

After couple of days, at night I installed Instagram and made an account. I never know till now that all my relatives and cousins had an account, luckily I found my favourite singers and followed them. I spend whole night watching different reels, then a notification popped up from my bestfriend james account tagging me in a post. He posted a beautiful picture with girls in traditional dresses and doing pooja [prayer] and some are from temples I think its festival time in india right now I heard it from mom. Its so breathtaking~

He tagged me saying wish you were there to watch this… he is making me feel so lonely but my mind went back to that yellow dress girl where I saw in james pictures. I didn’t saw her face but I wants to see her. She looks pretty with her big ear rings and wavy hair with full flowers at back. I feel different watching her I don't know why. i slept with her thoughts in my brain, without me knowing I slept peacefully with a smile on my face.
