.Sam Pov
Its been three days from that date night, I still remember every bit of it, Its just perfect date any girl can wish from the guy she like....like???
Did I just agreed to myself.. do I really like him, hell yes a lot
As realisation sinked in I can't help but blush at that thought and ended up giggling gaining little attention in park.
Oops
Great its been really hard to come to this conclusion from day one, I used to hesitate till now. I used to feel a pull towards him every time, I never thought it can turn into such strong feeling. But how will I tell him
*ring
I snaped out of my thoughts by my phone alarm. Its time for my next class
I quickly gathered my stuff before walking from the park.Author pov
[ just as sam walked out, a man with black hoodie came out from a distance, taking a sniff of her fragrance from the place where sam sat a moment ago. And started walking in her direction slowly]I saw my friends in uni across the hallway, talking by themselves. There are few students in this corridor so an idea pop up in my little head, I slowly went towards them and
BOOO
They got startled but after seeing its me, they started chasing me
Wendy- Sam once I catch you
But her words cut off by non-other than SeleneSelene- you are done in our hands
"Catch me if you can" saying that I ran faster to our class. Luckily professor isn't here so I went to my seat and waiting for them.
Wendy and Selene- SAM YO-
They started screaming as they entered the class but soon stopped as they saw we have audience here.
In mind [ poor souls, hehe]
They came and sat on their places, yeah we had same class and quickly we got into our chit chats forgetting about the scene in the corridor. I was checking my phone but Wendy's voice broke through my thoughts. "You know, Shawn is coming today. He texted me saying he's fine and will be back."
In mind- [ cant he take more leaves, he didn't came to college after his stunt which is good thing, how I am gonna deal with his crazy ass]
I forced a smile and nodded. "That's good to hear."
------......------......------......
We all are from same major but we have extra subject where we can choose according to our liking so wendy and selene are in different one while me and shawn are in same one unfortunately ( in which he used to be my project partner )
I was in my next class waiting for professor to come.
Shawn walked in just before the professor, looking completely at ease. He made his way over and sat beside me, acting as if nothing had happened that night at the café."Hey, Sam," he said casually, his voice friendly and composed.
"Hi," I replied, keeping my tone neutral. I focused on my notes, trying to ignore the knot of unease in my stomach.
Throughout the class, Shawn behaved normally. He asked about assignments, joked with our classmates, and even helped me with a difficult question. For a moment, I almost believed that night had been a one-time mistake.
But then, I felt it. Subtle glances in my direction, the way he leaned a bit too close, his fingers brushing mine when he handed me a pen. My discomfort grew but I tried not to get affected by it.
As class ended, Shawn turned to me. "Sam, about that night at the café," he began, his voice sincere. "I don't know what came over me. I'm really sorry. It won't happen again."
His apology seemed genuine, and despite my reservations, I found myself nodding. "Okay, Shawn. Just... be more careful next time."
He smiled, relief evident on his face. "Thanks, Sam. I promise, it won't happen again."
I remained cautious, but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he truly regretted his actions.
At the end of the day, Wendy, Selene, Shawn, and I met up to talk about our day. Shawn started discussing our project."I already completed and submitted it for both of us," I said, trying to keep things professional.
"Thanks, Sam," he replied, flashing a grateful smile.
We all chatted for a bit longer before heading our separate ways. As I walked back home, the unease from earlier lingered. I tried to shake it off, but I couldn't help feeling like I was being watched.

After we parted ways, I decided to stop by Andrew's Cafe. It was my favorite place to unwind, and I loved their chocolate shake. Nick had introduced me to the cafe, saying it belonged to a friend of his. Over time, I had grown close to the people working there, making it a second home of sorts.
As I entered the cafe, the familiar aroma of coffee and pastries greeted me. I walked up to the counter and smiled at Jane, the barista. "Hey, Jane! I'll have my usual chocolate shake."
"Coming right up, Sam!" she replied cheerfully.
I found a cozy corner and waited for my order. When it arrived, I took a sip and felt the sweetness soothe my nerves. "Thanks, Jane! See you later," I said, waving goodbye.
"Take care, Sam!" Jane called back, her smile warm.
I left the cafe and decided to take a shortcut through the park on my way home. As I walked, my phone rang. It was Mom.
"Hi, Mom!" I said, stopping to answer the call.
"Hi, Sam baby. Just wanted to check in on you. How was your day?" she asked.
"It was good. Just heading home now," I replied.
As we chatted, I placed my cup on the sidewalk to adjust my bag. We talked for a few more minutes, then said our goodbyes. In my haste to get home, I forgot about the shake and continued walking.

Unbeknownst to her, the man in the black hoodie, who had been following sam, picked up the forgotten cup. He smirked and took a sip. "I can't wait to taste your lips" he muttered to himself, the sinister glint in his eyes deepening.
He continued to follow sam quietly, staying in the shadows until she reached her apartment. He knew exactly where she lived; he had been watching her for days, waiting for the perfect moment.
As sam turned on the lights and settled in, he lingered outside, staring up at her window. His obsession was growing, and he could hardly contain himself. But he was patient; he knew he had to wait for the right time.
On his way back, he passed a flower shop. An idea formed in his twisted mind, and he walked in, picking out a bouquet of black roses. He wrote a note and instructed the florist to deliver them to her apartment tomorrow 7 PM. He paid for the flowers, his smirk widening as he left the shop.
"This is just the beginning, sweetheart" he thought, his heart racing with anticipation, to know her reaction after seeing them.
