Nick pov

I became less talkative according to mom and jim

I miss her

Its been so many years, but still whenever I close my eyes.. all I hear is -her giggles.

It was too late when I realised, I like her and have crush on her.

I completed my studies and currently working in my parents hospital and I am planning to open my own hospital in future.

I shifted into my own flat an year back which is near to hospital.

I got ready to meet jim as we planned to go out today [well practically he forced me into going].

I quickly drove to his house which is thirty minutes distance. I asked him to move in beside my apartment but he denied saying he already bought one near the city.

Me and jim work in same hospital to gain experiences before starting our own

I entered the restaurant and I scanned through crowd and spotted him near the window. I walked to him

Me-Hey jim

Jim- look who is here ..finally thought to show up huh

Me- *😒*

Jim- you

Me- stop you drama ass
Me- I slept late yesterday because of work and you went leaving your work to me also.. remember

Jim- hehe
Jim- I love you nick. You are the best

Me- yes yes

Jim- lets order
......
......

Jim- yummy
Jim- now

Me- hmm

Jim- now we will go and watch movie

Me- yes I remembered
Me- can't we skip it

Jim- no no

Me- ugh fine

Jim- LETS GOOO

*after movie*

Me-Now I will head back home

Jim- yes drive safe

Me- you too jim

With that I started driving

I saw book store so I quickly pulled my car aside.

I got to know that there is another book released from my favourite author. I still read her books, they are pretty good

I went inside to ask the owner if he have that book

Me- hello uncle

Uncle- hey nick.. you came again

[ yes I used to come here to read whenever I have time so we got close, I talk about her with him as he asked me few months back so he know her and know how I feel about her, he is the one who made me realise it and also I came few days back to ask about her book]

Me- yes.. do you have her book

Uncle- yes we just received her collection

Uncle- wait here, let me bring them

Me- no uncle tom, I will go and take a look by myself

Uncle- okay. On left side, tenth row

I quickly went and scanned through books and my eyes landed on the book I have been waiting from few months

I grabbed it and settled on my seat
[ yes my seat, uncle tom made it reserved for me all the time]

I have a view of nature from this window seat

With that I started reading 📖
