Mizuki Pov:

I turned the corner to the street that Ena told me she lived on. Although we had known each other for so long and were literally dating, I had never actually been to her house before. I guess there was never a reason to. Ena has never really been the type to "hang out" with people.

I walked through the small, quiet street which was neatly decorated with plants all over all the houses and street. The feeling of being watched disappeared as soon as I entered my house yesterday and hasn't come back since then. Maybe I really was just imagining things. I stopped walking as I reached a house with the number "39" written on the mailbox. I guess this is the one...

Ena mentioned that her house was quite messy, but it seemed pretty clean from the outside. I rung the doorbell and heard quick footsteps approaching. A few moments later, the door opened and Ena stood between the doorway, blocking my view of the inside.

M- Hi Ena!

E- Hi Mizuki...

M-...

M- Are you okay..?

E- Y-Yeah, I'm fine, it's just... My house is kinda messy...

M- Hehe, don't worry about that! I know it wasn't your fault.

E- Yeah... It's mostly my dads fault... Anyways, my parents aren't home right now so it's just you, me and Akito.

M- Okay!

Ena hesitated for a moment before letting me in. Was her house really that bad..? Ena finally opened the door and we started heading to her room after I took my shoes off. Ena was looking straight at the ground and I occasionally noticed broken glass bottles around her home as well as the faint smell of smoke. She said the mess was mostly her dads fault so... Oh.. Ena...

We reached her bedroom and she immediately closed the door. Her room was quite different to the rest of the house. There were lots of cute plushies and art supplies, and it was surprisingly organised.

E- I-I'm sorry...

M- Don't be sorry! It's not like it was your fault..

E- I-I guess...

I noticed that Ena's voice was shaky and she seemed like she might even start crying...

M-...

M- Do you want a hug..?

E- Eh?- I.. uhm...

Ena nodded slowly and I wrapped my arms around her tightly as she finally let out a few tears.

M- It's okay, Ena...

E- I'm sorry.. I didn't mean for the sleepover to start like this...

M- No. You're not allowed to apologise, okay? Just try to calm down...

Ena eventually calmed down and I stopped hugging her.

E- Thank you, Mizuki...

M- Of course! And don't feel bad, okay? You're allowed to feel like this.

E- I-I... uhm..

Ena pov:

Wow. Mizuki really knows exactly how to make me feel better. Later they're probably gonna say something like "remember how you hugged me earlier? If only you were like that all the time instead of being a tsundere~".
What was I even sad about..? I thought I had already gotten over dad...

M- Anyways, what do you want to do now?

E- I'm not sure... What do normal people do at sleepovers..?

M- I don't know.. Maybe we should look up some ideas?
