At this secret underground, Taecyeon is escorted by armed men dressed in black suits walking through the hallway until they got to the door
“Your excellency” A guy is waiting outside
“Is the detective already in there?” The prince asked
“She had been staying here for the past few days but I'm afraid she hasn't said a word, your excellency”
“Let's see how long she'll do that” Taecyeon scoffs
They entered the so-called ‘torture room’ where there's a two sided mirror and you could see the hostage from the other side of the room. But he was surprised to see who the hostage is
She is tied up in a wooden chair, bruises all over her face and arms
“Tzuyu?” Taecyeon mutters in disbelief
“Chou Tzuyu, your excellency. She's Chou Fei’s grandchild. It makes me wonder why she'll investigate our business. Does she not know her grandmother was once part of the High Society?”
“Until now, Chou refuses to speak what she knows” he added
“Let her go” Taecyeon said
“I'm sorry, your excellency? Am I hearing you right?”
“Let her go but make sure to keep an eye on her”
“But we can just do that-”
“She is my daughter's friend, she doesn't know anything because if she did.. I'll be ruined already”
Meanwhile …
The team have come home leaving Y/n and Sana alone in the house
“Mingyu found the farm. We're going in tomorrow”
“Will you guys call the cops?” Sana asked
“The police? You know that us and the police don't agree with each other so why would we ask for assistance with them? And their general is part of the high society” Y/n said
“But can we not kill this time?”
“What do you mean?” Y/n asked
“Justice is not always answered with blood. You can beat up those people at the farm but don't take their lives, I know they're not good people but we still shouldn't kill them..”
“Why are you suddenly saying that? That wasn't an issue before..” Y/n confusingly said
Sana knows the Pearl thief kills people who deserve it, so why would she suddenly say that?
“I don't know.. maybe it's time for a change?”
If ever Y/n is one of the people being suspected as the Pearl thief, isn't Sana’s suggestion a good idea? What they're doing is already a crime, they shouldn't commit more. Sana fully understand what Y/n stands for but she doesn't want Y/n to get caught at the same time
“Well.. now that you're bringing that up…” Y/n starts to think if that's a good idea
“But I don't think they'll back down..”
“Those people who are abusing their power and stepping on people deserve to be in prison to pay for their sins.. alive. Let them live all their life in regret and shame” Sana held Y/n’s hand
“We don't always have to shed blood if it's not necessary” Sana slightly smiled
“Okay, Maybe you are right.. it's time for a change” Y/n slowly nods in agreement
