2nd POV

It was next day and you were out of the cave with the younglings. Even though Mal told you to take it easy, she also said that a little exercise wouldn't hurt, on the contrary. She was inside taking care and watching over Kuu, she said you need some time for yourself. You were with the young three becouse Micco had work to do, Mal was taking care of Kuu and Rod had to rest since he wasn't the youngest. So it was either these three or Silver.

You weren't so fond of Silver, and it looked like the feeling was mutual.
It wasn't really true. Silver just had better things to do than this.

"So, we shouldn't let you run yet, but we could do a bit of stretching!"

Peli said while thinking in the first part, then enthusiastically saying the other one.
Onne and Nouri nodded behind him, before Nouri walked beside Peli, brushing his reddish fur against Peli's grey one.

"We can start easy with back strech! It helps so that body isn't too stiff!"

"-And then~,"

Onne went around them, emphasizing the word 'then', giving them a look before turning his head to you and continuing.

"We can harden a little. We'll do agility exercises!"

He happily exclaimed, happy that he butted in. You could only watch them, they are still pups. They were taking this as a little friendly competition, but they were trying. 'Goofy, playful little pups they are.'

1st POV

We did a few back exercises and when we were supposed to do the agility exercises, thay started arguing and now they're fighting, while I sit a little further away watching them.
I heard footsteps behind me and soon Micco appeared in my view.

"What happened?"

He asked. I could see him from the corner of my eye looking at me.

"They had a quarrel about who will do the next exercise."

I replied without facing him. I heard him sigh, then he again raised his head.

"Well, how about we have a small stroll before they finnish?"

I thought for a bit. There was nothing wrong with it. So I answered.

"Why not."

I got up and we made our way towards another spot. We sat over there and had a friendly chat.

"So, can I ask what happened to your pack? In more detail?"

Micco asked. I stiffened. It was only natural that he was curious, and he had the right to. I was staying under his roof, and he as the alpha had to know the reason. A sigh escaped my snout.
I guess there is no danger in telling him. There is nothing he can do with this information for evil.

"Our pack was big, bigger than yours but not as big as other packs out there. It was made out of different families. We were living peacefully, until one day we were attacked."

Micco was patiently looking at me, waiting for me to continue. It was hard thinking about it, we lost our home that day, and many known to us.

"I was out of den when it happened, Kuu was there alone. The chaos started while I was arranging something for the next hunt. All of the sudden there were screams, and when I looked in the direction they could be heard from, I saw flames.
I immidiately ran to our cave to get Kuu. There was fire everywhere. On myway to him, I cought a glimpse of the wolves who attacked us. I recognized them, they had done things like this in the past, but weren't known as a big threat in the present.
When I got there, I grabbed Kuu and ran the direction different from the one everyone else ran."

I turned my head to him, solemnly looking in his eyes. They were calm and understanding.

"The rest was just a journy, constant mooving from place to place to get farther away from our former home.
We found a place that appeared like a perfect home, butt suspicious things started to happen and we went on a move again."

My head lowered itself. Micco nodded. He clearly knew that he couldn't know what I was feeling, but he was trying to be as understanding as possible. He knew it was a sensitive topic. I bet that if his family was attacked like this, he would be devastated, specially when it's small and they're all close.

"And.."

Micco wanted to ask a question, but he lingered.
I interupted him to spare him from his suffering, already knowing.

"Kuu's my only child. I rised him alone since he started walking."

Micco obsorbed the information. He realized I had enough, and didn't need more of his questions.
He seemed to be searching for a better topic.

"Well, how about we talk about Kuu?"

I couldn't help but smile. He was trying so hard to lighten the situation and cheer me up even though we didn't know each other for even a week. This was a topic taht they could share and smile about.

"That would be nice."
