Chapter XXV (25): "Confronting demons..." (Part 1)

No one's POV:

Lake felt like he was going to vomit. Dr. Huang, Genevieve, and Hope stood there being frozen and scared to be moved at all.

"WE'LL FIND YOU!" Their mother called out with a threatening snarl, which would send shivers down anyone's spines. Dr. Huang quickly jumped up from the couch and walked out of the room, but quickly, everyone got out of the living room and followed the psychiatrist.

Once they walked into the sqaudroom, Dr. Huang stopped in his tracks once he saw his two adopted parents looking angry as ever.

Johnson Church is now 76 years old and has dark brown hair, but as he grew older and older, he began to become bold with no hair. He also had blue eyes with wrinkles all over his face, He had the face of judgment, threatening, and evil all over. It was not a face that anyone could look at. He was also American with a Texas accent since he grew up in the west.

Mary Church is now 69 years old. She has bright blonde hair and blue eyes. She also looked old as ever, with wrinkles and the look of danger, judgment, and anger. She was also American but grew up in Texas.

Both Johnson and Mary's eyes only had anger and rage in them, and those eyes looked into the eyes that belonged to Genevieve with her eyes filled with tears and fear.

"You disgrace piece of crap!" Mary growled with anger, She full on ran over to Genevieve with her hand in the air, ready to slap her. Genevieve shut her eyes as she was ready to get slapped, but then...

Nothing happened, but there was the sound of a—SMACK!

Genevieve opened her eyes, and she gasped in horror as she saw Her big brother, Dr. Huang stood in front of her, blocking his sister like a shield, and on his cheek, was a big red hand mark.

Genevieve's vision was now blurry from the tears. Her heart stopped once she saw Her big brother protect her again by getting in the way and getting a painful slap by their mother.

The whole room was silent and stopped, but immediately, Fin held back the crazy 69 year old lady from attacking Dr. Huang even more, and John held back the 76-year-old man from attacking as well.

Dr. Huang stood there and never moved. He kept his eyes on his two abusive adopted parents as they tried to get him even more but failed. Even though his cheek was stinging painfully, Dr. Huang still stood his ground and hadn't moved, He would take a bullet for his sisters and the people that he loved to death.

The psychiatrist didn't regret getting in the way of getting smacked in the face to protect his adopted sister from harm.

"If you wanna hurt her, you gotta go through me to do it!" Dr. Huang threatened with a growl, along glaring with angry tears in his eyes.

The old married couple tried to get out of the grip of Fin and John but couldn't. They only squirmed.

"You little demon! We'll kill you!" Mary screamed, but she let out a squeak of pain as Fin squeezed her wrist angrily.

"I'll give you something to cry about after you slapped my brother!" Fin growled as he dragged the old lady over to the holding cell.
