Theo meeting his wife again... (part 2/?)

Warning: drabble, floofy, slight spoilers to Vincents route, mentions of death, angsty but happy ending!

The tall vampire walked towards the kitchen doors. 

Today has been a pretty successful day selling his older brothers paintings. He managed to sell 3 to the same buyer and 2 more to different people. 

His steps were giddy as he headed towards the kitchen to grab a big 'ol stack of pancakes soaked in his favorite maple syrup. Sebastian always knew to leave some out for him before he got back from doing his work.

Perhaps the reason for his happiness was perhaps that Vincent had smiled at him in the morning wishing him well on his little job trip or maybe that Arthur walked into a door frame while arguing with Dazai about tea.

Perhaps though, it was just one of those rare days he was in a good mood. 

For some reason, Theo's heart was pumped full of...adrenaline? He couldn't quite put his finger on it but something felt odd to him.

As he walked near the kitchen he caught the scent of someone making fresh food. He could smell the sweetness in the air. Theo wondered if it was Sebastian making some 'brunch' as he heard Sebastian call it. 

The young man paused and clutched his head. His heart was just beating so rapidly he thought something was wrong. He knew he could recognize the feeling though, it was just...so familiar. He only felt this with her..

His eyes widened and his heart ached at the memory. His dear sweet Jo... His beautiful wife and their life together when he was human. If he had any regrets, it would be not spending enough time with her and not being able to save his brother.

His eye filled with tears and he stood for a moment, drowning in pain. He pushed it all back though, just like he had been doing ever since he was turned. He quickly wiped his eyes and shook off the feeling and continued to walk calmly towards the kitchen. Theo had his usual scowl to mask everything underneath his head and heart before it all boiled over.

As he entered the kitchen he saw the figure of a small person that he first thought was Y/N but letting his eyes wander he noticed the large differences.

The woman had her short light brown hair in a bun and she wore a nicely fitting sun dress that had that flowy look. Theo was shocked and stood at the doorway, staring trying to rack his thoughts together.

The woman turned shortly after sensing someones presence and smiled wide as she saw her late husbands face.

Theo couldn't believe it, his own wife right in front of him. Tears swelled in his eyes and streamed down his cheek. Before he knew it he ran to her and gave her a big bear hug, spinning her around as well.

The woman giggled in delight and gave him a long and passionate kiss.

"I-I can't b-believe its you...my precious Jo..." His buried his head in her neck and she gently caressed him lovingly, letting her dear husband cry into her shoulder.

"I am here, my love. I here now." She pet his hair and stroked his cheek as he continued to hold her for so long. The meal she was preparing was long forgotten and the reunited lovers were lost in a loving embrace.

Like in a happily ever after fairytale story, her prince and his princess.
