The day grew long as you spent your time either sleeping or having to spend 'quality' time with the man. Sleep came easy to you that night, as the soft feeling of the bed and the pillow sucked you into a deep slumber. You were woken up by the loud knocking at the metal door, jolting you up from the bed. The door swung open, and the guards picked you up, dragging you back to the table, sitting yet again right in front of him. This time, the foods varied from different breakfast items that you had never seen before.
"Please, help yourself to anything," he grinned before you hesitantly took the food. The whole time, he was just looking right at you, which quickly made you lose your appetite almost instantly.
"Mizu, wake up," Ringo was shaking her body as she was the last one to wake up. Her eyes slowly opened; the room was cold, wet, and had a foul odor coming from the walls.
"Y/n?" she quietly mumbled, slowly regaining her consciousness.
"Master, please, we have to get out of here quickly," Ringo spoke quickly, helping her stand up to her feet.
Taigen was kicking down the loose concrete on the walls, trying to find a way out. A whole day must have passed with them being stuck in some weird kind of cell. That old couple had poisoned their tea, making them fall unconscious for quite some time as they dragged them into an underground cell. Mizu looked around, seeing as there weren't any openings in the walls or ceiling. That was until the sound of the concrete finally gave way from Taigen's relentless kicking.
"Guys, we can go through here-" before he could finish speaking, Mizu had already squeezed by him and went into the tunnel that was left behind. To their luck, Taigen had broken the wall that led to the other cell chambers. They walked slowly so as not to trigger any traps as they walked in the dimly lit corridor, which reeked of waste.
You began to pick at the food; you got full quicker than last night as you only ate two things from the table. Maybe it was his smile that made you feel ill.
"Is the food not good?" he asked as you remained silent, still looking away from him. He was getting irritated from your lack of response to his questions and slammed his fists on the table rather harshly, as it quickly got your attention.
"You will answer me," he demanded, his yellow teeth gritted in frustration as he loomed over the table.
Still, you remained silent, not once did you look away as you kept eye contact with him. The man's impatience grew; he walked over and leaned in, his eyes never leaving you. "You can't remain silent forever," he hissed, you moved your face away from him trying not to be that close to his face.
His face twisted in anger, and without warning, his hand reached out, delivering a sharp slap across your cheek. The force of the blow stung, but you refused to give him the satisfaction of a reaction. Your eyes, though slightly watery, maintained eye contact. Not once did you ever want to give in and speak to that man; there was nothing that would make you say a word to him.
He grabbed your shoulders, shaking you violently as if trying to force the words out of you. Still, nothing. He stepped back in frustration before a freakish smile grew on his face.
"Very well," he sneered, "If you won't talk willingly, then perhaps a suitable punishment will help."
Without warning, he grabbed you, forcing you off from the chair. You used every ounce of strength you could, trying to get out of his grip. Before he had dragged you far, you had grabbed a sharp utensil from the table and stabbed it right into his only arm.
He yelled out in pain, quickly retracting his hand before his crazed eyes looked at you with pure anger. His face twisted, his bloodied hand slapped you on the face again; he was now fueled by rage as he threw open the door and began dragging you down a narrow staircase. For a man like him, he had a rather strong grip.
The man, seething with anger, shoved you into the darkness, and the world around you blurred as you fell down the stairs. The impact at the bottom left you disoriented, your head throbbing with pain. As you tried to collect your senses, you realized the fall had taken a rather harsh toll on you. The man's footsteps echoed from above as he descended, his voice filled with anger. "Maybe this will loosen your tongue," he taunted, looming over your battered form. In a final act of brutality, he kicked you in the side, causing a sharp gasp to escape your lips.
You clutched your sides as tears fell down your face and dripped onto the floor. But before the pain could settle in, you felt yourself losing consciousness.
Hours had passed before you woke up; the pain came back and took over as every move pained you. Unbeknownst to you, Mizu, Ringo, and Taigen were led right to their new location. And just like last time, they had made it in without anyone being injured. Mizu was in the lead as she killed every guard that crossed her path. She ran up the flight of stairs and kicked the door down to the main room. The man was surprised, to say the least; he took off right away as the guards took out their blades ready to fight, only to be taken down.
The man was backed into a corner; he didn't even get a chance to say anything before Mizu grabbed his neck. She tightly gripped him and threw him over to the side of the room, his back hitting the concrete walls as he fell onto the floor. She leaned over his body as he clutched onto his sides, begging her for forgiveness and to spare his life. Her blade chopped his head clean off in one swift movement.
"Find Y/n," she said, wiping the blood off her as they spread out all around.
As you painfully crawled up the stairs, every movement sending waves of agony through your body, Mizu, Ringo, and Taigen continued their search to find you. They were looking into every room only to find them all empty.
You had finally reached the top, which seemed like ages for you. The metal door stood tall as you sat there helpless. The pain worsened as you hit your fists onto the door, making the sound echo all around.
Mizu picked up the sound and ran over to be met with the door; she pressed her ear against the door, listening to hear the sound coming from behind the door.
She opened the door to see you sitting there on the floor with bruises all over your body. Her eyes widened at the sight of you. She had knelt beside you, wordlessly wrapping her arms around you, pulling you into a tight embrace.
"Y/n," she whispered before you pushed her off you, looking at her with wide eyes.
"Y/n," she whispered again, her voice a delicate plea, "what's wrong?" she didn't know why you had just pushed her off you. Her heart began to beat faster as you inched away from her, keeping your hands on your chest.
"Who are you?" you said frowning.
