Chapter 1

Nandini's pov

I am not sure why but a book is way more interesting to me then a party, I mean I am currently sitting on the ledge of a window where about 200 people are getting drunk off their asses and I am sitting here with a lollipop in my mouth reading a book

I have gotten a shit ton of looks in the past hour but I couldn't care less, instead I am getting to this really good part in my book so I am very excited about that. It's like that thrill of being on a roller coaster, as soon as you go down, you know there will be an up

"Ahh watch it" I yell as a guy knocks over drinks all on me and my book

He just laughs walking away making me groan, this is so annoying, all of the pages are ruined and I don't even remember what page I was on.

I should get up and smack him but it's my own fault for reading at a party where everyone is drunk and dancing around, I honestly don't even know why I said yes to coming here

Just when I was wondering why I showed up to this party, the reason walks to me, a grin on her face, her cheeks tinted red and her hair messy which only means this girl just made out with someone

"Guess what jsut happened" she excitedly grabs my arms yanking on it

"My hand will come off if you keep up that yanking" I say

she giggles grinning at me

"What happened?" I ask

"Well you know Cabir?" She asks

"Of course I know" I say

I mean who doesn't know cabir, he is one of the star players of our basketball team, everyone knows him

"Him and I just mhm we"

"Made out?" I say and she nods vinously as she giggles

"How many drinks have you have navya?" I ask

"Not enough because I can still feel his lips on mine" she says

"My god"

"He is a god"

I couldn't help but laugh at her words, she is such a funny person

"Come on let's go home, you have had enough partying for today" I say

"No I haven't, come on nanu, you party too" she says grabbing my hands swaying a little

"I party no" I say

She pouts making me smile

"You are no fun" she mumbles

"I will be fun when we are home safe" I tell her

"School tom?" She asks as we step out of the party

She means university but sure school works haha

"Yeah, aren't you excited?" I ask

"Very excited, you think cabir will be mine one day?"

"Of course, he would be lucky to have you as his"

"You are right" she says leaning on me

I stumbled slightly but get my composure walking to a cab. The ride home was very very eventful with navya talking about how nice. When we got home I tucked her in turning her lights off

"Nandini"

"Yeah?"

"You mean the world to me, more than anyone else. I love you"

My heart fills wiht happiness and my eyes wiht tears

"I love you too. Navu"

I kiss her head leaving her room.
