Manik's pov

I had just landed when I found out the team needs to have a meeting at the hotel lobby right away so we all rushed there and let's just say the meeting was hectic

We then had a 2 hour practice session and around 2 in the morning we all headed to our rooms because of how exhausted we were plus we had a day off tomorrow before the championships start

"Sup?" Cabir asks

"Nothing much, I am sleepy" I tell him

"Think we can win?"

"Of course we can dude, we are well we" he laughs hearing me

His phone rings as we were having dinner

"Hey babe" he mumbles picking up navya's call

He is actually so serious about her, I didn't think he would be but I like that he has found someone for himself

"Hi, how was practice?"

"Good, hectic. We have a day off tom"

"Thats good, what are you eating?"

"noodles" he gushes making me smile

"Thats yum, hold on cabir"

"sure"

"Nandini god, girl just sit down" hearing her name my ears perk up

"Is she around you?" Cabir asks

"This girl is so stubborn, she is pacing around when the doctor has clearly said not to"

"doctor?" I instantly ask getting off my bed and sitting beside cabir

"Oh yeah, well she got stitches and the girl can't walk without limping"

"What the fuck? What happened?" I ask

"She went back home around 10ish to get her charger and this dude was in her room"

"dude?"

"Yeah soha was having a party but yeah she literally charged at him because she thought he wasn't sober but he was sober enough to hurt her"

"can you call her over here?" I ask

"Yeah, Nandini" she yells

"Stop yelling my head hurts really bad" her whisper was enough to let me know she is hurt

"Here you go it's manik" she says handing her phone to nandini

her face flashes on the phone and instantly my head is all over the place, a huge scratch on her cheek, her forehead had a bandage. Her shine wasn't there

"Hi" she whispers softly

"Navya im sending you tickets right now, get yourself and her to an airport in the next 20 minutes" I say cutting the cal

"What are you doing?" Cabir asks

"Getting them a ticket, we have 2 weeks off school anyways so why not"

"No, not that. What the fuck are you doing with my sister?"

'did you not see how hurt she is?"

"this girl can't stay out of trouble, it hasn't even been hours"

"I am not going to ask any more questions, but just be very cautious of your moves"

"I know cabir" I say getting hem both tickets

I sent it over to navya and I get a text from her in an hour letting me know the two have boarded the flight
