Nandini had separated the love birds and was sitting in the middle, her arm wrapped around navya's arm
"Quit making out so much, ya'll's tongue will get stuck together" she comments making me chuckle
"That's false"
"No, I read it in an article so stop kissing so much, you know how many bacterias there are in saliva"
"Nandini I love you babe but stop" she giggles hearing navya
"Firefly" I call her
She looks up raising her eyebrows
"The food isn't coming here, lets go"
"Oh you two are going out to dinner?" Cabir asks
"Yeah wanna come with?" Nandini asks
I like how she offers them and asks to come with
"Mhm yeah sure, where are you going?" He asks
"Not sure, you can pick" I say
"Wanna go get some street food?" Navya suggests
I was about to decline but Nandini nods vinously licking her lips making me smile
"Sure, are you driving or should I?" I ask
"I can" he says
I get in the back with Nandini while cabir and navya sit up front.
"So can I kick aryan's ass?" Cabir asks
"Will you?" Nandini's face lights up
"Yeah, course I will. You are not allowed to date boys okay" cabir says like a protective brother
"Do I date girls then?" I chuckle hearing her
"Nah, no dating at all sis, these men ain't shit"
"Damn right they ain't she says giggling
"I have the greatest guy for you" I whisper in her ears seeing navya and cabir distracted
she turned her head to me but doesn't say anything
"Me" I whisper
She giggles nodding
"Definitely, the day that I see a shooting star, that day"
"I can actually arrange that, firefly" I tease
"Of course you can, after all you are the manik malhotra right"
"Exactly"
She giggles putting her feet up in a criss cross position.
Instead of stepping out on the street, we parked the car right by the stalls and ordered a whole bunch of stuff. I don't know why but I felt really at peace having food with everyone.
Cabir and I are brother, not biological but we are best friends and usually the two of us will have food together all the time but this feels like a proper family dinner for some reason
"Ahhh oh my goddd" Nandini screams
My attention quickly diverts to her, this girl wasn't hurt but she screamed because of a god damn teddy bear
"What is wrong with you?" I ask
"Shut up you elephant" she says running to the seller with the teddy bears
"What is with her?"
"She is obsessed with teddy bears" navya said
"Oh i know, her room has more teddy bears than furniture" I say going after her
