the lecture starts and I could barely focus in any of it because I was very very anxious, but it's a good thing it was an introductory lecture.
I don't know why I am so anxious, I feel like a ball of nerves and I feel like I will throw up if I am going to stay this close to him I will break out in rashed and stuff
"Hey" his voice brings me back from my la la world
"Yeah?" I look over at him
"What are you doing tomorrow afternoon? I mean when do you have classes?" He asks
Holly shit is this an attempt at asking me out?
"Mhm I have an 8 am physics class and then I have my calculus class later in the afternoon around 4, why?"
"Would you want to go out for a coffee?" He asks
My breath hitches and I wanted to punch naval who was giggling at my expense
"Mhm'
"It's not a date don't worry, I just want to be friend first, emphasis on the first part" I nod acknowledging his words
"sure" I mumble
"Great, here wanna put your number in my phone?"
I grab his phone putting my number in there handing it back to him, he smiles biding bye to navya and I
"Oh fuck no, I hate you so god damn much, I hate you" I say smacking navya who was having the best time of her life laughing
"Navya stop, I am going to kill you" I scream
"Woah is someone getting hadsy with my girl?" A voice brings navya and i's attention to the dude leaning against the lab lockers
Navya grins seeing him, he leans forward pecking her lips
"Your girl?" I ask
"Yeah, she is my girl, have any problem?"
"No no at all but you girl is my best friend"
"ohhhh so you are Miss Nandini" he asks as if he already knows who I am
"I am, who are you?"
"Woah, you dont know me?" He asks
"No? If you were important I'd know you" I tease
His jaw hangs down, both navya and I giggle seeing his reaction
"You don't know me?"
"No dude and you are seriously making it worse for you're by continuing to ask, it's sort of disrespecting yourself" I say
"Holly shit, you genuinely don't know me. I don't know if I should cry or be hurt"
"Both, I'd say both"
"This is a disappointment" he whispers to navya
'She is teasing, of course she knows you" navya mumbles to him
"Oh don't feed his ego, I don't know him" I say
"Nandini you are killing me girl, you are my girl's best friend I do not want you to be grilled by you"
"boy if you think this is grilling you are mistaken"
"is she gong to hurt me? Cause I am slightly concerned' I smirk hearing him
"Awww navu, your human is scared already"
"Argh stop it"
"Aww baby" she teases him more
