Spy Rule #55: Know your exits

I hear my grandma yell "Samantha wake up!"

I groan back in response. She then yells  "If you are not up in ten minutes you are not going to like it!"

I guess I ended up falling back to sleep and I guess my ten minutes were up too because I felt freezing cold water all over my face. My grandma decided that dumping a bucket of ice water on my face was the best way to get me up and out of bed, and she was right about it.  I jumped out of bed while saying " Holy shit that was cold!"

My grandma frowned at me and says "Watch your mouth young lady."

I quickly apologize and I can feel my cheeks heat up in embarrassment form cursing in front of my grandmother, 'Sorry grandma."

She smiles at me and says " Its okay dear. Just get dressed the Bakery opens in a hour."

I nod my head and she leaves me to get ready. My grandma owns a small bakery that is very popular in our little town with a population three hundred and sixty eight. Grandma and I are they only ones who work there but that is all we need.

"Samantha are you ready?" yells my grandma.

I reply back while walking down the stairs "Yes ma'am."

She smiles at me and we start walking towards the bakery. Out of no where my grandma asks "Do you ever miss your brother, mother, and father?"

I sighed "Yes  I do. I still call them every Sunday evening."

My grandma then asked " Why did you leave?"

I then said " I may be younger then my brother but I know more then he does about our mother and father, so I had to leave."

That was all that was said on the subject.

It was my turn to close up for the night so as my grandma was getting ready to leave for the night she reminds me "Remember to go to you school interview after you close up."

I said " Yes ma'am."

As soon as she left  I flipped the open sign to close and I locked the the door.  I then began cleaning up."

I looked out the window to see a black suburban parked across the street. I knew something was strange because black is not a typical vehicle color around here. Also, you do not typically see suburbans around here either. Suddenly a man in a black suit gets out and is headed towards the Bakery's door. He knocked on the door and I went over to it but didn't open or unlock the door. The man in the suit asked "Hello young lady I was wondering if you could help me."

I noticed a needle in his pocket and I saw a gun in his waist band. I started thinking about all the exits in this store I decided on the back door. I then said back to the man "Yes sir how may I help?"

He then started to say "Do you know..."

Before he could finish I turn around a sprint for the back door. I heard the front door being kicked in. I opened the back door but another man in a suit was already there I was trying to scream but I couldn't. I slowly started walking backwards trying to get away. I suddenly backed into a chest. I felt something being stuck into my neck then I blacked out.
