Spy Rule # 37: sometimes there is no way out
"Austin! Austin wake up.. Wake up now!"
That is all I could hear as I was trying to sleep. I tried to yell back but my throat hurt so bad to the point where I couldn't yell back, all I could get was like a squeal. I then heard my mom come stomping up the stairs she say as she comes into my room " Austin Lee Brown, if you don't get up right now so help me..."
She didn't finish the rest of her sentence because she saw how sick I looked. She then said "Oh hunny."
She then sat on the edge of my bed and felt my forehead. She said " You are running a fever. You can't go to school today. Do you need me to stay home?"
I replied in a scratchy voice " No mom you need to go to work. I'll get up and drive to the doctors office so they can give me something."
She nods her head and says " When you are done at the doctors office don't for get you have that interview for the private school."
I reply " Yes ma'am I will go as soon as I am done at the doctors."
She then says "Okay be careful."
I say " I will."
She then kisses my forehead and leaves my room. About thirty minutes later I hear the front door open and close and then her car start. I wait a few more minutes before getting up myself. I go down stairs and eat some breakfast and drink some juice for my throat. I then go back up stairs to get dressed. I then go back down stairs and out the door and into my car. While I was getting into my I notice a black suburban parked across the road. I could tell there were people but I couldn't tell how many or what gender because the windows were tinted.
Once I started driving I notice the suburban started driving too. All the way to the doctors office the suburban followed me. It always stayed at least one car behind me. When I pulled into the doctors so did it. I got out of my car and so does a guy in a black suit out of the suburban. As he is getting out a gust of wind came threw and his jacket blew back and I saw a gun in his waist band and a syringe in his pocket. I turned to start walking towards the entrance so I could get away from the guy. As I started walking the guy tells "Hey young man."
I pretend like I don't hear him and keep walking. Suddenly I feel a hand in my shoulder. I realize I don't really have a way out but I was going to try to get away. As the guy turns me around I punch him in his nose. I hear a crack realizing I must have broken his nose. I turn to get ready to run but when I turn there is another man in a suit with a gun pointed at my head. I don't move. The guy who I punched in the nose gets up and says "What is up with all these stupid Cali kids punching me in face area. First the little bitch punched me in the throat and now this little punk punches me in my nose."
The guy I punch then pulls out the syringe from his pocket and pokes it into my neck. The man with the gun says " Walk."
He leads me to the suburban and opens the back door and says "Get in."
I get in and they put a sack on my head to where I couldn't see and they tied my hand and feet together not long after I passed out.
