Spy rule #55: Always weigh your options

Recap;  We sat in silence for a while. I was thinking. Once again I was blind folded and put into a van. So now it's 4 car rides and 3 plane rides. I finally ask "why are you dragging me across the United States?"

They share a look before James asks "What do you mean?"

James and I have a staring contest before I say "Cut the crap you and I both know you are dragging me all the way from California to Virginia."

Jame and Tyler both look surprised. James then says " Alright yes you're right but tell me how did you figure it out?"

I smirk and reply "It was simple really. First you guys aren't very good at telling if some one is awake or not. I over heard you say that we had been on the road for an hour. Well you see I can tell time without a clock so I was about to count to see the hours and look at my surrounding. Our first stop... Well actually would you like me to tell you specific places or just states?"

James says "Specific places."

I smirk again and reply " Okay. Well our first stop was in Colorado Springs, Colorado. From there we took a flight to Great Bend, Kansas. Then we drove through southern Illinois into Kentucky. Then we flew out of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and we are flying to Virginia."

James claps his hands and I hold up my hand and say " I'm not done yet. I know exactly where in Virginia we are going."

James smirks and says "Okay, where are we going?"

I reply " Langley, Virginia."

Tyler looks at me amazed and James say "well done kid."

I smirk once again and say " I also have a surprise."

Tyler says "oh yeah and what is that?"

I say " I know what your job is."

Once again they share a look before James asks "Okay, what are we?"

I reply "well you see when I was asking questions and you were and weren't answering them you were actually answering my unasked questions. When I asked about you boss you couldn't say anything about him and when I asked your name you only gave me your first and acted like you didn't even have a last name which means you work for the government. Then the way you talk and act and how we switched vans four times and airplanes three times means you are careful. At first I thought maybe FBI, but you are why more trained then that and dress nicer."

James asks "Okay then what are we?"

I smirk and lean back in the chair and say "You're Spies."

James and Tyler looked at me wide eye. James then says "Nice job kid. I guess I was wrong about you."

I laugh a little and I said "Yes you were wrong, but your biggest mistake was that you underestimated me."

Tyler laughs and asks "How did we underestimate you?"

Is he stupid? They've been underestimating me since the kiddnapped me. I say " Well your first mistake was you thought I was going to be easy to catch. You thought I ran but  I never left the playground."

Tyler looked confused and asked "What do you mean?"

James hasnt said anything he is observing me in mirror. Once again these idiots are underestimating me they think I am just gloating but in reality they only know what I want them to. I am telling them stuff just for there reaction. They are telling more then they think. I reply back to Tyler  "You guys thought I ran into the woods but I didnt I climbed a tree in the park. I heard James's talking to your boss. I could have stayed up in that tree and you would have never found me."

James finally chips in and ask "Then why did you come down?"

I say " I was desperate."

Tyler asked "Why were you desperate?"

I laugh and say " You're the spy. You tell me."

James pipes in and says " You were afraid and needed to get out of town, so you decided you would take your chances with the kidnappers."

I nodded my head and said "Yes that is true. While I was up in that tree I weighed my options stay or go. Clearly I decided go."

Tyler then asks "How did you know we weren't trying to kill you?"

I laugh and said "James told me himself. When he was on the phone. By the conversation I knew your boss wants me alive."

Tyler then asks "How do you know that our boss wont kill you?"

I smile sadly and reply in a whisper "I dont know."

Tyler quickly asked " What if he does decide to kill you?"

James's head snapped up and we stared at each other for a mintue. While staring into James's eyes I answer Tyler's question by saying "Then your boss is doing me a favor."

Jame's eyes quickly find their way back to the road and Tyler becomes exremely quiet. With that final statment I knew even more about the two. I suddenly ask "Are you two partners?"

Tyler stays quiet and James says "Yes we are."

I ask "Out of the two of you who is incharge."

James says "Tyler."

I then ask "Do you remember when I said I learn about you guys from the way you speak, by the way you answer or dont answer questions, and by your body language?"

James answers "Yes."

I ask "Then why did you just lie to me?"

James replies " What do you mean? I didnt lie to you."

I laugh and say "Bullshit. You just told me Tyler is the leader when you are the leader."

James asks "What makes you think that Tyler isn't the leader?"

I laugh again " Because you guys pratical told me. You guys were interogating me and your tatics is to make Tyler seem like the person in charge. He is the one to question people but really you are in charge. You observe and wait for the right time to throw the curve ball. You make Tyler ask the obvious questions and as soon as they get comfrotable with Tyler, you jump in and throw them off their game. But guess what? It doesnt work on me because I know you're next move before you. I am always three steps ahead."

James laughs and says " You are absoutly right. Good job kid. How did you do it?"

I smirk and say " Well you see apparently I am extremely smart. I am in all AP classes and I get all A's in them and the AP classes are still to easy for me. So my old school cut my classes short so I could take more classes. Everyone would be doing 8 classes a day and then there was me doing 16 classes a day. One of my favorite classes I took was Psychology. I have taken every type of psychology, sociology, and criminology class there is. I studied you as you studied me, but I did it better."

James was about to ask a question when I held up my hand and said "I think I am done talking now and plus we are here."

James and Tyler both looked at me shocked because I knew we were here. After that last thought we turn onto a road and drive a little. We get to a huge concreate wall with gaurds at the enterence. James shows him his ID and badge and the guard waves up through. All I think is they are only going to give me two choices...
