The Dinner 7a

Adriana went back to Luca's company and settled down in her office that she hadn't been in since morning.

****ONAREZ GROUP*****
After Luca left Gabriel's office, Edmond sighted him from the reception desk on the same floor, he noticed that Luca was pissed. He didn't say anything, he quietly escorted Luca out of the company to the underground parking lot.
"Boss, what happened in there?". Edmond said as they entered his car.
"We didn't broker a deal". Luca said. He took Edmond as his friend and not a secretary and that's why he could never get pissed at him even though he's prying.
“Sir, I'm not sure you went there to broker a business deal. It was about Adriana". Edmond knew that they didn't come to broker a deal, actually what happened was that they were on their way to have breakfast in a café near Gabriel's office and they saw Adriana step inside looking gorgeous as ever.
Luca told him to wait for about 10 minutes. If she didn't come out, they go in. And that's how they ended up in the underground parking lot of Onarez group.
"He told me he doesn't broker a deal with a rival company. Imagine the insult, as if I need his stupid contract". Luca said sounding pissed.
Edmond just chuckled. "What love can do. You came here under the pretence of broking a deal and got insulted from there. Sir your love is strong".
Luca stared blankly at Edmond and stared looking flustered. "I'm..I'm not in love".
"Keep saying it till you believe it, Sir. Keep saying till you believe". Edmond said and started the car engine.
"You...". Luca said and look away.
Edmond started singing.
    "Love is in the air,
      Let it in,
      Love's a wonderful thing
      Luca let it in".
Edmond all the while was laughing in-between lyrics. After singing he turned to look at Luca and saw that he was looking at him blankly, it made him laugh the more.
Luca just shook his head. "You know you are supposed to defend me, right?".
Edmond stopped laughing, Luca knew that he had turned serious.
"What do think of her?". Luca asked Edmond.
"Boss to be frank, I like her".
Luca looked at Edmond with furrowed brows.
"What...what do you mean you like her".
"Sir, I mean that if you don't have her, I will".
"Are you threatening me?".
"Nope only warning you". Edmond replied looking innocent.
Luca didn't say anything, he was put into thinking mode. This was the first time Edmond had said anything about taking the girl he had eyes on if he didn't do it. That means Adriana is really different.
"Is she that different?".
"Sir, I honestly thought I was the only one seeing it".
Luca nodded his head.
"Sir I have your best interest at heart". Edmond said while giving Luca a friendly pat on the shoulder.
In private the act like best friends but in the company no way. He was the boss and Edmond the employee.
They both got this message clearly and acted accordingly.

******Ersatz Enterprise****
Edmond parked in the underground parking lot of Luca's company.
"Sir, let's go. You have a meeting by 2pm and dinner with Miss Lima by 9pm".
Luca nodded his head as the two of them got out of the car. They walked over to the elevator and just as the elevator was about to close
"Stop. Please leave it open".
"Was that Adriana's voice?". Luca asked Edmond.
"I think so Sir".
They pressed the button so the elevator wouldn't close.
Adriana ran over there. Her hair looked like someone that just had a quickie.
Luca was staring at her, from head to toe. He was getting a boner already.
"Get in". He sounded cold.
Adriana walked inside.  As soon as the elevator closed she pressed the 20th floor button.
"You work on the 34th floor. You remember, right?". Luca asked Adriana.
"Well Sir, I want to give something to someone and come right up. I won't be long".
Luca looked at her for sometime and said"When you come up come to my office".
As soon as he said that the elevator opened for Adriana to come out.
"Yes sir". She said this and bowed a little and then turned to go. The elevator closed and went up.
People that were coming out from the elevator opposite Luca's own was amazed.
"Did she just come out from the CEO's elevator?". A lady asked her friend.
"Who do you think she's having an affair with?". The friend asked back.
"But she's pretty and I don't know either ". The lady replied.
Adriana scolded herself for not thinking of the consequences of entering the elevator with Luca. She forgot about the CEO's elevator that no ordinary employee is allowed to enter except his secretary.
Adriana Chechik walked to the head of financial department to submit an estimated budget of the new goods stamped and approved by Luca, so they can give the production department the money required.
After this, she entered the elevator and headed to her floor. The 34th floor.

****Knock Knock***
"Come in". Luca said sitting behind his large table.
"Sir, you requested my presence". Adriana said.
Luca looked up. "Come".
Adriana walked over to Luca's side. Luca turned his chair to face Adriana.
"Come closer".
Adriana came closer to Luca. Luca stood up to face Adriana, his neck at her head level.
"Who did you go to meet at the finance team?".
"I erm, I went to meet the head of the department, Sir".
Luca nodded his head. "Princess, you know that dinner is at my house, right?. 9pm. Don't be late".
Adriana nodded. She expected Luca to sit down but he just stood there, so she raised her head up and as soon as she did that Luca crashed his lips with hers.
Adriana was shocked. Her eyes were closed but her brain couldn't process anything apart from Luca's lips that held her bottom lip captive.
Luca sucked on Adriana's bottom lip gently then he started acting greedy, like he couldn't get enough.
Adriana released a soft moan as her bottom lip was still in Luca's mouth.
"Luca....Luca stop". Adriana tried to free her lips but it only ended with Luca pulling her face closer.
"Hmm...Luca.... please....Luca stop". Adriana pulled her head away as she used her hand to push Luca away.
He held her hand still, as they were close to his chest.
Luca looked at Adriana but she didn't look at him. She dragged her hand away from Luca's hold.
She used her the palm of her left hand to clean the invisible sweat on her forehead, waiting for Luca's next command.
"You can leave". Luca said this dejectedly. He thought that she didn't like it. At least from the way she acted.
As Adriana went to office she released all the air she had been holding since that kiss. At least she wouldn't see him again until tomorrow morning where she will act like nothing happened.

Oh no.

THE DINNER.

This was Adriana's thought and she soon became anxious.
Lord know what will happen at the dinner. She was anxious.
