Agreement 8c

Luca returned to his office after going to confront his mother.

***Adriana's office**
Adriana was wondering where Luca went as she hadn't seen him through the afternoon. She looked at her watched and saw that it was 13:50pm.
She opened a KFC app on her phone and ordered some drinks, chips and chicken with burgers to.
"It will take 20minutes to arrive".
She continued clicking on her laptop. After 15minutes she heard a knock on her door.
"Come in". Adriana said not looking up.
"Ma'am you have delivery".
Adriana looked up and saw that what she ordered had come in 5minutes earlier and she was pleased.
"Thank you". She said after collecting the package. The delivery man had gone.
She breathed in and headed straight to Luca's office.

***Luca's office***
**Knock knock**
Luca heard his door open. He was expecting two people as they were the only ones that knows his password apart from himself.
Luckily for him the first person on his mind entered.
"Good afternoon sir". She stood there in her brown skin glory.
"Come in".
Adriana walked forward towards his couch. She sat down and placed the food.
"Time to eat".
Luca whose face went back down to his computer put his face up again. He had completely forgotten about food.
He walked over to Adriana and sat down. Adriana gave him his own share and beckoned on him to start eating but he was staring at the food.
"What wrong?". Adriana asked with worry but she was already holding a chicken wing.
"I want you to feed me".
Adriana who had taken a bite and not expected Luca's response started chocking.
She coughed a little and stared at Luca hoping he was joking.
"You are playing right?".
Luca shook.his head like a new born baby begging for breast milk.
"You are unbelievable". Adriana said this and gasped.
She feed Luca and herself too. After some time they were done.
Adriana threw away the trash in the trashcan in the office corner.
Adriana sat next to Luca,cupped his face with her left hand.
"What's wrong?".
Luca stared at her. She was the first person who knew he was not fine even without him saying.
"Didn't you see the news?".
Adriana smiled. "I saw. I saw"
"I'm sorry. But it's not true".
Adriana smiled. "Through thick and thin right?".
Luca did answer. He bent over, removed his shoes. He laid on her laps.
As he expected he was free. Free from worries. Free from comparison.
Adriana was stroking Luca's hair. At that point Luca knew that if he leave Adriana he was doomed.
She gave him peace. Peace that no one else gave him in a long time.
She was his paradise but the problem wasn't him because he was ready to let her in, but was she?.
He stayed there, they stayed there in silence. Not awkward silence. Peaceful silence.
"Let's get married". Luca said.
"Hmm?"
"Let's get married. That's the only way to keep off my brother and also prevent my stupid marriage". Luca said this looking at Adriana from where he laid his head on her lap.
Adriana breathed in.
"Luca we just started dating. You might not want to marry me".
"Why?".
Adriana smiled. "Luca I'm not your type of woman. I'm not as rich ad you are. Remember? In your world rich marries rich"
Luca just stared at her. He stood up and put her head on his lap.
"It's your turn".
Adriana just giggled. "You still act like a child ".
"Just around you, pretty". Luca breathed in. "I'm not like the rest. Yes in my world rich marries rich, but it's for the money. I need peace and happiness, and it's from you".
He looked at Adriana deep in her eyes. Adriana stared at him for sometime, then get brain started going into an overdrive.
Does he mean it?. What if his like my father that when test of time comes he scouters away?.
Adriana eyes filled with tears. She looked away from Luca and stood up from his lap.
"I'm sorry". Adriana was mad at herself at how she cried easily recently.
"It's alright. I'm here".
Adriana went into Luca arms and cried her eyes out. She knew that he was getting curious as to why she's always crying and made a mental note to tell him everything tonight.
"I'll talk to you later". Adriana said this as she made an attempt to stand up.
"6pm. Pack up. We'll leave, alright?".
Adriana just nodded her head and walked out, heading towards her office.

***Ersatz mansion***
"Get her parents involved". Esmeralda told Iglesias.
"Yes, mother".
"If we pay them and tell them to get their daughter to marry you with promise of more money. She'll be yours"
Iglesias said. "Mother, how sure are you that he'll do something after 24hours if you don't rectify your statement".
"His is your father's son. Temper's the same and sometimes he scared the shit out of me. And to think he says little". Esmeralda said this as she shuddered.
Iglesias nodded and went to work on finding out who and where the Lima family based.
"Let's see how your parents will react to money. You must marry that family, Luca so that my money can increase and Iglesias will get the woman he wants".
