Let's Get Married 11b

****Hilo Cemetery****
Adriana and Luca arrived at Hilo Cemetery by one in the afternoon.

Adriana breathed in, Luca held her hand and comforted her.

"If you don't want to, you don't have to". Luca said still holding her hand.
Adriana smiled "I want to get it over with".
Luca nodded and they both stepped out.

Adriana went to open the back door and get the flowers, they were a mixture of roses and daisies.
They both went to the attendant and got informed that the cemetery was done accordingly by surname.

They asked for they 'S' section and was shown. They walked there and Adriana looked around a bit before seeing her mother's headstone.

She dropped the flowers infront of the tombstone and hugged Luca whose arms were already around her waist.

They stared at the tombstone for about another thirty minutes and left.

****Ring Ring***
Luca's phone rang.
"Hello?".
"Son, come home we need to talk". Esmeralda said over the phone.

Luca turned to look at Adriana. She didn't have that sad emotion on her face. She was scrolling through her Instagram page.

"My mom called". Luca said, his grip on the steering tighter.
Adriana looked up from her phone, look at Luca's hand and smiled.
"Chill jealous boy, I'm yours, remember?. And please don't break the steering". Adriana joked, laughing a little.

Luca smiled and laughed a little too. He glanced at her and smirked.
"Can you be mine forever?"
"You've said this thing before, what do you mean?". Adriana said looking suspiciously at Luca.
"You will know". Luca said.
"No tell me, now". Adriana insisted.
Luca shook his head. "I will tell you later".

Adriana just nodded her head in total surrender. "Fine".
"So, will you come with me?".
"Sure".

******Ersatz mansion****
They drove into the compound and got inside. The sitting room already had drinks set up as the mother saw his car driving in from her room

Esmeralda wanted to talk to Luca one on one because Adriana's family refused her offer.

Luca got into the house with Adriana by his side. When they got in and Luca saw drinks he knew that his mother had seen them come in.

He sat down and waited for his mother to arrive, after 10 minutes she did.

"Son, welcome". Esmeralda said upon sighting Luca.
Esmeralda looked at Luca's side and noticed Adriana sitted.
"Ahh. I see you brought your girlfriend. Nice". Esmeralda said as she sat on the chair opposite Luca.

"Mom, why did you call?". Luca said, not looking forward to spend even another minute in that house.
"Relax son, enjoy". Esmeralda said, pointing to the drinks.

She wasn't surprised that neither of them touched their drinks. She brought a glass of red wine to her lips and drank.

"I called you here to tell you that I intend to give Adriana to your brother for marriage". She said , after dropping the wine glass.
"Excuse me?". Adriana said, not finding it funny anymore.

"Yes, you heard right, child". Esmeralda said with a tone of finality.
Adriana looked at Luca. His eyes were already red.
"As Luca isn't serious. My son, Iglesias, has made his intentions known. His of marriageable age".

Luca's hand then folded into fists. He was scared though that Adriana would agree.
I mean who would say no, when the opportunity of marrying a rich man is presented?.

He thought this because of his other girlfriends. He knew not all girls are the same but hell they scarred him over and over again.
Will he ever be able to trust a woman when comparing him to his brother?. He wasn't so sure.
