Trust issues 5a

Luca sat down near the mother. Opposite the brother. Adriana sat down near him, near Iglesias.
The food was served. No one talked while they ate. They had a quiet dinner.
"Stay the night".
Adriana dropped her wineglass, looked up and saw Luca staring at her.
Adriana turned to look at Esmeralda and said"Huh?". Will Luca approve?.
She looked at Luca but Luca was not looking at her, he was still pissed that she went to sit beside his brother, he thought she was different.
"Sure, we'll stay". She said and she didn't even want to but she wanted Luca to say something but he didn't.

***Their room****
"This should be comfortable for both of you". Esmeralda said this and left, closing the door behind her.
Adriana stood there. Luca stared at her, he was seething. Adriana turned to look at him and wanted him to say something because normally that is what he would do and how he will act.
Luca didn't say anything he just left to the bathroom. He showered and went to sit on the bed.
"Are you angry?". Adriana said with a pouting face. She didn't want him to be angry with her.
Luca looked up, he didn't say anything, after some while he asked"Do you believe that.....". He was hesitant, Adriana noticed that.
"That?".
"That I...I... I'm not able to take care of a woman?".
Adriana was shocked she didn't answer. Luca stared at her and saw that she was quiet, he thought that she actually thought that of him and he was devastated. He just laid on the couch.
Adriana noticed and said"Yes actually. Wait, do you think you are capable?". She sounded rude.
Luca who was lying down sat up and just looked at the floor. Like a child being scolded.
Adriana saw her words affected him badly and it amused her but she felt the pain. Pain of being told you are not enough.
"Hey, listen here silly. Are you mad?".
Luca was suprised. He looked up. Adriana came and sat beside him.
"No wait. You seriously think that you are not capable?." Adriana shook her head and looked at the vanity mirror in the room. She told Luca to follow her, Luca did as he was told.
Adriana put him infront of the mirror and stood behind him, only her eyes and forehead that showed, from her nose to her mouth didn't show.
"Now look at yourself in the mirror, you dimwit". Adriana smacked the back of Luca's head and stood facing him from his front, her back towards the mirror.
"Ouch"
"You really think that what?. You can't take care of a woman. You... Sometimes if I could just smack you with a pan for your head to reset, I would". Adriana scoffed and walked to the bathroom.
Wait, was she angry?. Luca was asking himself. He stood there for sometime, Adriana thought he was capable then he is capable and he will start thinking so.
The reason why he valued Adriana's word or opinion is that she is a high value woman, at least from his perspective.
"I will not be surprised if he's still standing at that mirror." Adriana came out of the toilet with a black short linen robe and a towel she was using to dry her hair.
Luca was on the chair perpendicular to the bed and its back facing the large glass window frame.
"Huh. He's sitting, surprising".
Luca looked up, she was staring at him. "What?".
"Hmm, I thought you would still be standing in front of the mirror".
"What do you take me for?".
Adriana shuggred." Should I be honest?".
"Yes".
"You are a very commanding, annoying, selfish, arrogant boss."
"Did you talk to me like this?".
"No. I talked to your twin brother like that. Asking me stupid question!".
Luca was shocked.
"Come and sleep". Adriana patted the side of the bed.
"What?".
"If you don't want to sleep, tell me let me know how I will spread myself".
"Fine". Luca didn't move." Sleep there alone".
Adriana looked at him. He laid on the couch back. Wait, did he just refuse my offer. Well his headache.
Adriana laid down, she thought he would come after like half an hour. He didn't.
"Come, Luca"
He didn't answer.
"You are snubbing me. Okay, but don't talk to me on the morning".
He was still quiet.

*****Next morning****
Luca saw her and didn't say anything. She even greeted, he didn't reply.
"Okay. Fine he wants to play silent. Two can play."
They went down for breakfast.
"Morning beautiful"
"Morning handsome".
Luca was shocked he looked at Adriana as if he was suspecting her to have been an imposter.
Wait, did she hit her head while sleeping?.
She sat down beside Iglesias.
They ate again in silent as of last time. She wondered if they actually obeyed table manners or they just didn't have anything to say because everyone knows no one obey table manners or is she the only one?. She doesn't even eat on the table most times.
After eating they went outside to get going.
"Have a safe trip back". Esmeralda said.
"Where is Adriana?". Luca asked the mother.
"She and Iglesias left the table together after eating so I don't know".
She left with him? Luca thought.
As soon as, Iglesias came out adjusting his joggers so did Adriana come up behind him adjusting her dress.
They've been gone for 30 minutes. Did they have sex?. No way. But what if they truly did?.
