Absentmindedly Billy fingered on the key to his bike. The wait to get his Harley off from the airplane had been way too long and he was starting to get irritated as well as anxious.
He wanted to get moving so he could get to Cassie as soon as possible. Every single minute he was wasting away from her was devastating to him.
Although he felt like a wreck on the verge to have a total meltdown, a huge smile spread in his face.
HIS woman was carrying HIS child. It was HIS.
A strange feeling swept through his body as he thought about it, but he wasn't alarmed at all, in fact the feeling felt pretty darn good. But as always good will not last for too long and that feeling faded away quickly to give room for another one not so pleasant.
Would Cassie ever forgive him for his harsh and nasty words? Or the way he had treated her?
He ran his fingers through his hair with worry. Oh man, that was also a new experience for him.
He had never before been worried because of a woman.
His mind was reeling with everything going on inside it.
He had always been in control . . . and not in love.
That was the difference now. He was in love.
He had to admit to himself that he was scared like shit inside. His heart was beating so hard with fear of being rejected that he was afraid that he was going to have a major heart attack.
Then he laughed a little to himself as he imagined what Ryan and the others in the club would think of that. Showing any sign of weakness was not allowed what so ever, and he was known to be the biggest badass around.
Jesus Christ, he was slipping big time.
The moment later he was awoken from his thoughts by one of the airport personnel who told him that his bike was ready to be picked up.
"Finally," Billy mumbled through gritted teeth as he grabbed his backpack and stood up, straightening his limbs, "What the hell took so long?"
The man looked nervously at Billy with a fake smile attached to his face.
"Just standard procedure, sir. And the fact that it was another vehicle on the same flight blocking your bike. We had to unload . . . "
Clearing his throat, Billy cut the man off in mid-sentence.
"Yeah, yeah, I get the picture, " he grumbled and motioned for the man to lead the way, "Now show me my bike."

Standing in her kitchen boiling water for her coffee, Cassie could hardly wrap her head around the fact that Lisa knew about Billy, and had done it for a while without telling anyone. She was glad though that Lisa was okay with it, because basically she was the main reason to why Lisa had been so unsuccessful that night at the party.
A small giggle slipped past her lips as she took a cup and filled it up with water and then added the coffee. But the giggle got stuck in her throat as she suddenly heard the doorbell echo through the apartment.
Oh no! Not Brad again.
Taking her time, she took a slow walk to the door and opened it. Drat!
Well, as she had predicted, there stood Brad. And he had a broad annoying smirk plastered all over his face.
"Well, hi there doll-face, "he greeted her and stepped inside uninvited, "I was in the neighborhood and I thought I come by for a visit, to see how you were doing."
