International morse code. Dot's and dashe's.
"You know Morse code?" Theo blurted out in disbelief, not believing what he just heard Lisa say.
Giving him a sincere smile she nodded to him.
"Yes, I do. I learned that when I went to school, " she told both him and Billy and shrugged her shoulders, "and when I think something is fun it tends to get stuck in my head. I thought Morse code was fun."
Theo's face fell completely. "Who learns Morse code in school, really?"
"Apparently . . .me, " Lisa told him shortly then she became serious, "in fact, this message is addressed to me."
Both Billy and Theo stared in disbelief at her. Billy because he was amazed by her skills and Theo because he could not wrap his head around the fact that Lisa was even smarter than he had thought.
"Well, what does it say . . . the message?" Billy asked impatiently and took a step closer to Lisa at the same time as Theo started to look around and discovered that Pam had been gone much longer than a regular visit to the ladies room called for.
"Where the hell is she?" he sputtered with his arms outstretched, "Where's Pam?"
"Who the fuck cares? Good riddance to her, "Billy swatted Theo's arm and gave him a scowl and a shake of his head, then he turned back to Lisa, "The message? Tell me!"
Without beating around the bush for too long, Lisa told him head-on.
"It says: Help me Lisa," she took a quick breather and then she continued, "I know it's from Cassie."
Billy's eyes widen and he catches his breath. The second later he starts to look frantically around the room. "She knows that shit too?"
"Yes, she does, "Lisa beams back at him, "Because I taught her."
Muttering under his breath, Billy paced back and forth in the bedroom. "A simple S.O.S would have been enough. Women!"
Theo snaps his head up at them, and he has got surprise written all over his face.
"So that's what all those strange notes were about, huh? The ones scattered all over the office?" he moved over to Lisa and snaked his arm around her waist, a wolfish grin almost splitting his face in two. "Girl, you certainly are full of surprises!"
"OH FOR FUCK'S SAKE!" Billy yelled on top of his lungs as he saw his father lean in for a kiss, making both Lisa and him jump with scare where they stood." ARE YOU TWO FOR REAL?" Billy threw his arms out and he breathed hard through his nose. He couldn't believe his own eyes. "Cassie must be around here somewhere waiting for us to get into action, and you two starts to make out? Gross!"
