Peeking out of the room, I saw him sitting on the couch, a coffee mug in one hand and the other busy typing on his laptop. He had managed to dry his hair and change clothes, while I was stuck here in this ridiculous outfit. It was all his fault; he had put me in this embarrassing situation while he seemed to be enjoying his hot coffee without a care in the world. That's just not fair.

What should I do now?

An idea suddenly popped into my head, and a mischievous smirk formed on my face.

Oh, Mr. Kabir, you will think twice before messing with me again.

I found myself sneaking up behind him, tiptoeing across the room like a secret agent on a mission. He was engrossed in his laptop, completely oblivious to my presence. The tantalizing aroma of coffee wafted through the air, and my senses were instantly captivated. I couldn't resist the temptation any longer. With a mischievous grin, I seized the opportunity and gulped down the remaining coffee in one swift motion. Oh, it was heavenly! The best coffee I had ever tasted.

Feeling triumphant, I carefully poured the liquid I had been holding into his coffee mug, hoping to surprise him with a little prank.

I couldn't help but reminisce about the past, about the countless pranks I used to play on Kabir. We were inseparable, partners in crime, always finding ways to make each other laugh. But that was a decade ago. Life had taken us on different paths, and I had stopped playing pranks altogether. Until now.

As I turned around, panic washed over me. What if he suddenly turned and caught me in the act? I quickly placed the mug back on the edge of the sofa, trying to act nonchalant.

To my relief, fate seemed to be on my side. He remained engrossed in his laptop, completely oblivious to my shenanigans. Now, all I needed was to grab the phone charger, which happened to be conveniently placed next to him. I reached out, my fingers almost brushing against the charger, when suddenly, Kabir's hand shot out and grabbed mine, causing me to stumble and fall onto the sofa.

Our eyes locked for a brief moment, and I could see the surprise and confusion in his gaze.

"What on earth do you think you're doing?" he exclaimed.

I looked up at him, my heart pounding in my chest. "I just... I just needed the charger," I stammered, trying to regain my composure.

Kabir's eyes narrowed, suspicion evident in his voice. "Is that so? It seemed like you were up to something else."

"N-No, I just needed to charge my phone. I didn't mean to disturb you."

"You could have just asked, you know," he said, a hint of amusement in his voice. "No need to resort to stealing, Kitty."

My anger flared up at his assumption.

How dare he accuse me of stealing?

"I WAS NOT STEALING" I retorted, my voice filled with frustration. "I was just... borrowing it!"

"Well, you certainly have a unique way of going about it," he chuckled. "You never cease to surprise me,"

Brushing off my anger, I stood up, leaving Kabir to his coffee. Kabir took a sip from his cup, completely unaware of what awaited him.

The moment the shampoo-infused liquid touched his lips, he spat it out, exclaiming, "What the hell?"

Serves you right

He hurriedly made his way to the kitchen, desperately trying to rinse his mouth and get rid of the unpleasant taste. I couldn't help but taunt him, unable to resist the opportunity to tease him further.
