Are Mates Forever?

Chapter 6

Rose's POV

'Lilac will be home soon, so I should probably take a shower and stop crying; it makes me look weaker than I should be,' I thought to Adria.

"You don't look weak; you just look like a person whose parent died," said Adria reassuringly.

'Fine, but I'm getting a bowl of ice cream and watching Twilight,' I replied sadly.

"You're watching Twilight because of that wolf aren't you?" Asked Adria. 

'The wolf wasn't just a dream?' I thought back with my head reeling. 

"Nope, the wolf wasn't a dream, just like I'm not just a voice." Said Adria.

I went to the freezer and grabbed out the Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream filling my bowl all the way up. I went to Lilac's room because the smell comforted me I curled up on her bed eating my ice cream and watching Twilight. 

"I can't wait for Lilac to get home so I can cuddle up with her" purred Adria.

"What the hell Adria!" I shouted as soon as Lilac walked into her room. 

"Who's Adria" Lilac questioned concerned. 

"Lilac, I fell asleep watching Twilight" I said pointing to the T.V "and I had a dream about a wolf named Adria who said something stupid."

"Mhm" said Lilac clearly not believing me.

"I get you don't believe my but it's true" I said, my hair going into flames again.

"Rose, I get it hurts you don't think I believe you but I do," Lilac said trying to reassure me so I didn't accidentally burn the house down, "but until you believe me I need you to clam down."

"CALM DOWN?!" I asked just getting more angry "Do you ACTUALLY believe me or are you just saying that to try to get me to settle down?"

"I believe you but, I need you to calm down," said Lilac "I don't know if you forgot but your hair catches on fire when you get angry."

"Oh" I said, remembering, "well then can I at least get a hug?"

"Of course" Lilac said excitedly.

"Yay" I said also excited.

"Rose, I need to tell you something" said Lilac nervously.

"What's up Lilac?" I said worried she was going to kick me out. 

"I like you a lot and more than just in the friend way, it's ok if you don't feel the same I just needed to tell you," said Lilac fidgeting. 

"I like you more than just in a friend way too but I can't date you, it wouldn't be fair I'm in love with Tucker," I said.

"I know, and that's ok you don't have to love me." Said Lilac sadly. 

"I'm so so sorry," I said on the verge of tears trying to leave the room without Lilac seeing me cry. 

"It's ok seriously," said Lilac trying to make sure I'm ok while sounding like she's going to cry herself. 

"No it's not I just hurt people, I can't do this anymore" I sobbed running out of Lilac's house.  

"Shit" said Lilac running after me. 

"Stop following me" I yelled at Lilac; my entire body going up in flames with my anger at myself. 

"I can't you're going to get yourself hurt!" yelled Lilac back.

"NO!" I sobbed my bones starting to break, "what's happening?!"

"Shit the pack doctor was right about you being a werewolf too." Lilac muttered.

"I'm a fucking werewolf?!" I yelled in agony. "What do you mean too?!"

"You know Adria, that voice in your head?" Lilac said trying to gauge what my reaction was going to be, "that's your wolf, I have a wolf too that purple wolf you saw that's Clover."

The pain finally stopped but I was taller that Lilac now, did I decide to stand on my tippy toes? I looked down at my toes- paws? At least my fur was my hair color. 

"Are you Adria or Rose?" Asked Lilac cautiously. 

"Adria" I heard Adria say but her mouth didn't move?

"Is Rose doing ok with this?" asked Lilac BUT HER MOUTH DIDN'T MOVE EITHER???

"We're mind-linking" Adria said through the mind link.

"Oh, so I can still talk to Lilac? She smells so fucking good right now" I mind-linked.

"Um, I can hear you" Lilac said out loud blushing. "I smell so good because I'm your mate." Said Lilac.

"Then why do I like Tucker so much" I said making sure to only link Adria.

"He's our mate too" replied Adria through the link.
