Chapter 11

Tucker's pov

*Rose, I know you hate me for being with Gabi but please respond?

*Please Rose I need you right now!

*Haven't you hurt me enough Tucker?

*I have but I need to talk to you IN PERSON.

*Too bad I'm not gonna be at school this week, my partner and I are going to Nevada on what might be a wild goose chase.

*Your Partner?

Shit she has a partner already... I thought I was her mate though?

*Yes, Lilac is my girlfriend now. I'm sorry for not telling you sooner Tucker.

*Oh, can we meet after your trip to Nevada then?

*I'll think about it but honestly I don't think I'm ready to get hurt again, I'm sorry.

*Why do you always think all I can do is hurt you? I've been a good friend, not a very good mate considering I'm with Gabi, but we can still be friends right?

*No, we can't Tucker, I can't be around you when you're with her until the mate bond dies out or we reject each other.

*I don't want to reject each other or the bond to die because you'll just start hating me.

*YOU'RE BEING SO SELFISH DON'T YOU SEE HOW MUCH THIS IS HURTING ME?!

I can't reply to that; I know it's hurting her, but I don't like her not being in my life.

"Hey baby, what are you thinking about?" Gabi said, walking up to me in the cafeteria.

"Nothing, just talked to Rose for a bit," I said gently.

"Why are you talking to the jealous bitch who wants what's mine?" Gabi said angrily.

"She's my friend; watch what you say about her," I warned.

"Why do you care so much?! You don't give a shit about what people say when it comes to me!!" Gabi said angrily.

"That's not fair!" I yelled frustrated, "I do care; it's just harder with you!"

"Prove it!" Gabi yelled enraged, "If you love me, then prove it!"

"How can I prove it to you, my love?" I asked worried.

"Come to my house later tonight and take me out on a date; if anyone talks shit about me, put them in their place." Gabi explained fuming.

"Done," I said confidently.

"Fine" Gabi replied glaring at me.

I couldn't stop thinking about Rose calling me selfish earlier. I know it's kinda selfish, but am I really hurting her that much?

My phone started to ring as soon as I was about to take a shower; it was Rose!

"Hey Rose what's up?" I asked, turning off the water.

"I'm sorry, I Rose Elizabeth-" Rose started before I cut her off.

"Are you trying to reject me?" I asked, dumbfounded.

"Yes, you don't need me, and I already have Lilac, so I'm trying to get over you." Rose said gently but pointedly.

"Put Lilac on the phone real quick, please?" I pleaded.

"Fine," Rose said bitterly.

"What do you want Tucker?" Lilac snapped through Rose's phone.

"I want you to help me Rose is trying to reject me," I whined.

"And? You act like you haven't been a selfish dick; you have a girlfriend but you won't reject Rose or let her reject you. Just fucking let my mate be," Lilac snapped and hung up on me.

She's right but I don't want to give up on what could be there if we tried. I turned the shower back on.

*Do you have a dinner reservation baby?

*Yep it's for 7, I'm about to hop in the shower. 

*Ok, text me after?

The shower gave me an opportunity to clear my head, I want to try to let whatever is there with Rose develop into something. I don't want to hurt Gabi but I'm not very interested in her anymore. I have to break-up with Gabi. If I'm gonna break-up with Gabi I'm gonna make this the best night of our relationship to give her a chance first. 

I get dressed into my favorite black jeans and black dress shirt, I got Gabi her three favorite flowers; Tulips, Roses, and Lavender in a bouquet. I went to pick her up at her house, her dad opened the door, "Bring her back by 11:30 on the dot!" 

"Yes sir" I said, Gabi's dad is ex-military.

Gabi came down in a black dress with a thigh high slit. She smiled brightly after she did a once-over with me holding the bouquet. After dinner we went back to my place for a little bit of Netflix and chill. 

Rose's pov

"IT HURTS" Adria cried out. 

I started sobbing, "Lilac it hurts"

"I know babes, I know" Lilac said soothingly.

I curled up into a ball the pain was agonizing, "What's happening?"

"It's Tucker, Gabi and him are doing stuff" Lilac said hinting. 

"Oh" I cried, he finally realized he doesn't want me, why didn't he just let me reject him?

Lilac's pov

"I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL TUCKER, NOT LETTING MY MATE REJECT HIM THEN FUCKING ANOTHER GIRL!!!" Clover roared angrily.

I could only feel a little bit of what Rose is feeling, but even the little bit is painful as heck. 

"I'm sorry babes" I said running soothing circles on her back. 

"How can I stop the pain?" Rose cried. 

"I'll take you to the pack doctor she can give you a sedative?" I told Rose.

"Let's go please it hurts too bad" Rose said sobbing. 

We went to the pack doctor in Nevada, Dr. Teresa. 

"Dr. Teresa, help me please, my mate is hurting her other mate is fucking another girl." I said trying not to get pissed off. 

"I can help" Dr. Teresa said pitifully. 

Dr. Teresa examined Rose with a sympathetic expression, seeing the bruising already starting to form on her stomach, then gave Rose the sedative, after she turned to me, "She's going to be in a lot of physical and mental pain for a while."

"I figured, thank you Dr. Teresa." I said still upset with Tucker. 

"We have to get revenge," Clover linked to me. "We told Tucker what would happen if he fucked another woman!"

'I know Clover but we can't do anything to him while they are still mates.' I linked back, 'anything we do to him we do to Rose too.' 

"I hate that you're right" Clover linked back. 

'I'm sorry Clover, we just have to be there for Rose." I said. 

"We will, I'm going to make sure Adria is sleeping be right back" Clover linked and slipped out of the link, after a little while Clover was back, "She is still sleeping."

'We should sleep too' I replied sleepily. 

"Ok," Clover replied sending soothing messages to help me sleep.
