Are Mates Forever?

Chapter 20

Rose's pov-

"If you think that's all there is why should we be together?"

"That's what I'm saying! We shouldn't!"

"Fine, then I, Rose Katz, reject you, Tucker Gray, as a boyfriend and mate."

Both Tucker and I howled in sync. "Damn, well, this fucking hurts." Tucker howled with his eyes flashing green.

"I'm sorry, I need to leave" I said. 

 'Why'd you do that?!' Adria howled trough the link.

'Because, I can't have him feel what I'm feeling, or what I'm gonna do, I could feel when he was cutting himself.'

'Rose, what are you planning on doing?!' Adria linked. 

'I'm gonna run, run t-till I can't breathe anymore.' I replied, cutting off the link. 

I start running out of house, barefoot, and keep running and running until my side has a sharp burn and my vision gets black spots. 

'Shit, Rose, STOP' Adria yelled. 

"I can't" I cried, starting to fall. 

'Rose?' Adria said concerned as my vision went completely black and I started to lose feeling of my limbs. 

When I woke up I didn't know where I was, I couldn't open my eyes. There was pain everywhere.

'Adria?' I tried to link. 

'Adria??'

I suddenly smelled something sweet, like a mixture of vanilla and something I can't identify. I no longer felt the ground beneath me, rather that I was in someones arms with sparks all over my body. 

Unknown pov- 

I found a beautiful girl on my run, she's ginger, but covered in blood, her eyes are swollen, her nose looks like it could be broken, she smells floral, but like blood and fire. I have to take her in. I need her to be okay.

I felt the sparks when I held her. 

'Mate' said my wolf. 

'Please no, I can't do that again, please.'

"How'd you get here pretty girl?" I asked aloud. 

"Shit" I said when her body and hair started glowing red-hot with flames. I want to keep her, forever. 

Rose's pov-

'Mate' said Adria. 

'Another one?! I can't have another mate right now, he can't fix me, I'm beyond repair.' I replied. 

"How'd you get here pretty girl?" He asked.

God his voice is pretty, I wouldn't mind hearing it over and over. 

'I wouldn't mind hearing it on a sex tape' Adria said. 

'Girl do you have to be so horny?!' I yelled in the mind link feeling my body get flushed.

"Shit" the voice said.

'Adria, did we catch on fire?!'

'I don't know.'

'I think we did because I'm exhausted.' I said starting to pass back out.
