Chapter 19

Rose's pov

"Okay, Lilac wants us to meet her then, she's on a run," I say.

"Alright, can we stay here for 5 more minutes and cuddle though?" Tucker asks.

"Of course, handsome."

"Rose?"

"Yes?"

"Are you gonna leave me too?"

"Why would you think I'd leave you? You're perfect for me love, you're my mate for a reason that doesn't just happen."

"But what if I don't think I'm as perfect for you as you do?" Tucker asks as Adria whines. 

"What are you saying, Tucker?"

"I think we should take a break."

"Fine" I say getting up, 'Lilac, it's just gonna be us on the run' I link. 

'Why, what did Tucker say?' Lilac links back. 

'He thinks we shouldn't be mates and he is wanting to take a break, I think it's just that he's worried I'd leave him, but I wouldn't I care about him way too much.'

'Actually I've kinda been thinking about that too, you've been hoping to move away, and you think you're ungodly for being in this relationship in the first place, it caused a lot of issues, you're only 16, go have a life.' 

'What the hell did you do, why do our mates not want us anymore?!' Adria links whining. 

'I don't know what the fuck I did' I link back to Adria. 'Are you rejecting me as your mate Lilac?'

'Yes, I Lilac Evans reject you Rose Katz as my mate and girlfriend,' Lilac linked making Adria howl and I felt agonizing pain throughout my body as I caught on fire. 

"TUCKER" I screamed crying.

"Rose, what happened?" Tucker asked concerned at my body being in flames.

"Lilac, sh-she rejected m-me" I said sobbing. 

"What the heck, why?" Tucker asked coming over to comfort me.

"I don't know but now I'm scared, I thought me and her were so close and I love you, what if I lose you too? I mean we're already on a break, so you probably don't want me anymore."

"Hey, hey, baby, you won't lose me, I love you, but I think we need to take the time to actually know each other fully, I mean do you even know my favorite colors?"

"Green is your favorite followed by blue."

"Oh"

"I try to know your favorite things, like your favorite show is Dragon ball z, and you like playing Ark with your best friend."

"Yea" Tucker says looking kinda shocked. 

"Wait, do you not know anything about me?" I ask.

"Not really, I don't really tend to listen to you."

"What? But when you care about someone don't you sacrifice for them, you listen, you know what makes them tick." 

"Honestly, I don't care about any of that stuff you are neat, and we have a lot of physical attraction. And I know how to calm you down."

"If you think that's all there is why should we be together?"

"That's what I'm saying! We shouldn't!"

"Fine, then I, Rose Katz, reject you, Tucker Gray, as a boyfriend and mate."

Both Tucker and I howled in sync. "Damn, well, this fucking hurts." Tucker howled with his eyes flashing green.
