Chapter Eight: The Morning After

Lucy POV

'what a night! I can't remember a thing. I have never been that drunk in my life and I didn't think I would have but I did. Oh well, it's over and I'm hungover, Geez I feel warm and I kinda like it.' I wake up to a pair of arms wrapped tightly around me and to make this worse, I'm naked. I want to look behind me to see who it is but I'm kinda scared and I don't wanna wake him up really. Suddenly I hear a voice that sounds a lot like Sting "What happened with you two last night? Man I told you I liked her and I find this!" He seems to get angrier with each sentence. Then the two arms release me and I turn around to see it's Rogue in the bed next to me also naked "Look Sting, it's not what it looks like we were drunk and frankly I don't remember what happened last night" Rogue says and I just nod to agree. Then I look over at Rogue and then down at me, I start to feel bad about myself and I guess he knew what I was thinking because he pulled me into a tight hug "It's not your fault, feeling express themselves more when you're drunk so it's my fault. I feel bad because you don't feel the same about me as I feel about you..." He lets go and gets his boxers off the floor to but them on before grabbing his other clothes and leaving the room so I could change into something decent. Sting looks at me seeming sorry for me "If you liked me, you should've told me, not called dibs on me." I say before pointing towards the door making him leave me alone. I get dressed and sit down in front of the door, hugging my knees 'They like me? Why me though? There's better girls out there, well not as strong as me but definitely better looking' I sigh and try to remember last night but everything is a blur and then a little piece of last night appears.

*Flashback* (No one's POV)

Lucy walks over to Rogue who has already started drinking "Hey there Lucy! Have a few drinks with me" She smiles and drinks a few beers with him and soon they are both outrageously drunk. "Rogue, do you have a crush on anyone?" Lucy asks him and he laughs a little. "Lucy, I'm in love with her but she doesn't know it. I love Lucy and I always have since I met her last year. Meeting her and earning her trust is a dream come true." He says and Lucy smiles "Why don't you tell her than?" He thinks about it "You know what you're right but there's no way in hell that she likes me too..." he seems saddened but perks up. "What about you?" She smiles "No one anymore, I thought Natsu was the one but he broke my heart..." Rogue pats her back and kisses her cheek "You'll forgive and you'll forget, It's all apart of being human" Lucy smiles and kisses his lips softly which turns into an aggressive make out session by the bar.

*End of Flashback*

Lucy realizes it really was her that started it all but also realized something more than that.....
