The oracle is now sending percy on a quest which he had to choose who to bring. "So as you all have heard, percy will be selecting Three people to bring on a quest." Chiron began "The people up for the running are-" Chiron started but couldn't finish because of percy. "Aura." He said "well most people wait to hear a name or two first" Chiron stated looking down at percy "you would want someone who isnt going to hesitate throwing you down a well if the quest requires it right?" Chiron nodded "And that person is Aura, and Annabeth." Percy finished. "All right, the two first questmates are Aura Raner! And Annabeth Chase" Chiron stated as me and Annabeth smiled at each other "kay i'm gonna go pack my stuff!" I giggled thinking about what clothes to bring.
As I looked for what clothes to bring Luke walked in my room "Hey Aur?" he said quietly "oh hey luke!" I giggled "you gonna bring your mom's ring?" he smiled at me "yeah i guess.." "kay good luck Aur." he smiled as he left.
"why does she keep talking to that tree..." Percy whispered at grover "its thalia, the forbidden kid her and luke met on there way over.." I slapped his arm.Soon I started thinking and it made me doze off.. that happens a-lot "She met a heros fate!" Annabeth stated at percy "she met a pinecones fate..." Percy shrugged "Percy!" I pushed him "Ow!" percy got pissed because of that but I really didn't care.
"We're going to get snacks" Annabeth said "Wait I wanna come to!" Percy said as I pushed him back in his seat "no, you're staying there." I smiled at him "What! it smells terrible back here!" Percy snapped "Monsters cant smell you through that... so thats where we want you. kay blondie.." I smiled sweetly "What! your also blonde and I want to vote!" Percy said sternly "no." Annabeth said "Chips and sodas okay?" I asked "Why do you get to decide we dont vote!" Percy said. Then Percy made us go through a voting thing, where it was a tie so grover needed to vote. "Guys I really dont want to be a tie breaker! I have a much better idea!" He began clapping his hands "Oh golly the roads getting bumpy, cause I got me some friends that just cant get along, oh dear, when the teams getting grumpy the key to getting through it is singing this song-"Grover started with his... song but luckily percy cut him off "Dude what the hell are you doing...." Percy began "so? chips and sodas okay for you guys?" I smiled
"Yeah."

As me and annabeth walked into this store she handed me something. "its a ring, My mom knows you like rings, so when I asked her for another yankees hat she gave me a ring...." she smiled "Oh thanks Ann!" I giggled "but how does it work?"I stated "like my yankees cap just put it on, id keep it on a necklace chain so you dont lose it.." she smiled. And I smiled back.
