As Annabeth paid I noticed an old lady "Annabeth!" I whispered "what Aura?" she responded, and I pointed to the old lady "somethings up with her." I said panicking slightly.
After we were done paying we walked back into the bus and Annabeth whispered in my ear, "get Percy and Grover off this bus. now." She said as she slid her yankees cap on "Guys! open a window now!" I yelled running to the back "I don't think these windows are supposed to- OH SHIT!" Percy yelled as he saw Alecto "open the window percy!" I yelled as a Fury Smashed into the window. "Oh No..." Grover yelled as he got the window open "uh!" I panicked as I hit the ring from my mother twice turning it into a spear, throwing it at the fury "Aura! Come on!" Percy said as he grabbed my hand as I got shocked "ow!" I said letting go of Percy's hand. "Aura!" Percy yelled as I jumped out of the window "Annabeth!" I called for her. "Annabeth!" I called until i saw her run jumping out of the window. "Come on!" Percy yelled as we all ran away from the bus.
"Okay so we haven't even made it to Trenton and we're already wondering in the forest, i didn't even know new jersey had forests! but look we found one we need to call camp" Percy ranted as we walked through the forest
"okay and? we were sent on a quest by the oracle its not supposed to be easy! what are you so afraid of!" Annabeth turned to him "guys this is a satyr trail!" grover shouts "grover sweetheart...." i rubbed his back
"what do you mean what am i afraid of!" percy turned to Annabeth "you keep acting like your just a kid! but your not just a kid doesnt kill a minotaur, just a kid doesnt do what you did to clarisse at camp, your not a normal kid. you are apart of something so much bigger but you don't realize it!" Annabeth stated "if you don't want to call camp, thats perfectly fine, can we at least call your mom?" "grover! aur! can you explain to your friend that he needs to pull himself together!" Annabeth looked at us as grover turned his head and i pursed my lips.
"what did you say?" annabeth stated and it was obvious to tell she was pissed. "athena, your mother you know i would call my dad but were not exactly on speaking terms cause of the whole, life long neglect thing...." percy replied awkwardly.
"oh? you cant ask her can you Annabeth!" percy stated smiling "Aurora!" Annabeth called for me.
"Dont bring her into this shes on my side!" percy stated at her "shes on your side?" annabeth questioned
"ive been friends with her for the past 3 years shes been here, if shes going to be on anyones side shes going to be on mine, you met her a week ago blondie, and you just walked in her and acted like you know everything but you dont." Annabeth started. "grover!" Annabeth called
"stop bringing him into this. hes on my side!" percy yelled "what makes you think that!" Annabeth yelled back. "Because hes my protector its his job!" Percy yelled back "Oh really! he was my protector first!" Annabeth smiled.
"guys i smell hamburgers?" Grover said
"I dont care. my feet are killing me, hey blondie carry me." I complain "uhm no." Percy replies "Hey percy.... please carry me" I attempt to use my hypnosis on him but it doesn't work. "yeah nope!" percy says.
