"Asher no!" Olivette Jasmin shouts as she takes off. Leaves and twigs break beneath her bare feet. Asher Rose takes off after his sister. Smiles spreading from ear to ear on both of their faces. Their green eyes bright in the overcast. The sun barely coming through. A storm was heading for them, it's been on the news since Tuesday. Today was Friday. Summer. The breeze was cool though. The heat was bearable and if it wasn't, the two kids knew how to cool off. From water balloon fights to just running into the ocean that they've done since they were 5 years old. Or there was always the rain. Of course that is when it rains. Storms though were different. Asher Rose loved storms. His twin sister Olivette Jasmin was terrified. Terrified of the loud cracks of thunder that roars across the plain of fields. The darkness of the sky instead of the clear blue one she's grown to love growing up. She got it from her mother.

"Gotcha!" Asher Rose shouts lightly as he runs around a tree that Olivette Jasmin runs around, swooping her up with one arm around her waist. They spin around, a yelp followed by a giggle escapes the girl as she allows the boy to spin them.

"Not fair! You're faster than me," Olivette says, still giggling. Asher places his sister down and takes a step back. The two locking eyes. They have the same eyes. Mostly resembling their mother. A tad difference but still beautiful emerald colored. They were twins after all. But their hair color that's where you'd get confused. Asher Rose has curly dirty blond hair, almost brownish. Olivette Jasmin has dark brown almost raven black colored.

"I am a couple seconds older," Asher chuckles. Olivette rolls her eyes. She crosses her arms over her chest and shakes her head. "And you would think you'd be faster too. We've only been doing this since we were able to run."

"Still not fair. Mum said-"

"Mum told me to play fair. I have," Asher chuckles, cutting his little sister off. His eyes dance away from his younger twin, by a couple seconds and into the distance. The dark grey colored clouds overtaking the light blue ones now. Asher smiles, sincerely. "The storm's coming."

Olivette turns her gaze off of her brother. Her green eyes looking to the sky now. A sickening feeling creeping into her stomach as she shakes her head. "We should head back to the house."

Asher's lips were curve up right. His eyes sparkling from the small sunlight still somehow coming through the dark clouds. His eyes squint looking, watching.

"Wait. O, come here!" Asher Rose shouts taking off. Olivette's eyes go wide watching her brother take off. He was fast like the flash in a way. He was scrawny but still built much like his sister. She was tiny but still had upper body strength. All the kids do is play outside. Climb. Run. Play. It's all they've ever known.

"Asher wait!" Olivette shouts shaking her head, hesitantly following after her brother. He's farther ahead. His smile hasn't left his face as he's running through the open fields, tall grass up to their hips brushing against them as they run. Olivette keeps her eyes on him, still running, trying to reach up.

Asher comes to a halt once he's pass the grass. The wind picks up. The breeze cooling off swiftly. The wind blows through his dirty blonde locks, flinging his hair in different directions, but it doesn't bother him. He's not phased by it. The movement of his hair or the way the air pushes his white t-shirt against his skin. His green eyes are on the clouds that have turned darker. They move fast.

A smile inches his thin lips. The sound of his sister running up behind him doesn't phase him. He watches as the trees and flowers and bushes all sway. The tall grass behind them looks like it'll be ripped from the ground but it won't. Not without a tornado.
