Shaky hands. Short, heavy breathes. Olivette looks back and forth on the tv at the movie everyone's decided on. It was a beautiful day today. It started wonderful with breakfast and with Alycia being home. Asher barely spoke the whole morning. Barely even talked during the first movie. Alycia kept trying but Asher just answered short and avoided his mother's eyes. Olivette couldn't even look at her own brother. They both knew more than they should. And Olivette feared it was just going to become more.

Slowly Olivette turns her head from the tv over to where her mother sits up on the couch. Alycia's legs were pulled up onto the couch. She leaned onto the arm chair with a blanket over top of her. Her green eyes focused directly on the tv and the movie playing.

Olivette looks her mother over, the best she could. The way her mother looks now and the way her mother looked in the video made Olivette's stomach twist as if a knife was plunged inside and was being twisted. Swiftly the young girl turns her head away from her mother back to the tv screen. She looks around finding Everlynn asleep in the chair. Asher standing and heading towards what looked like the bathroom.

"You okay baby?" Alycia asks in a whisper. Asher pauses slightly looking to his mother and nods.

"Just going to the restroom," Asher responds matching the whisper. Alycia nods, looking back at the tv. Olivette however watches her brother head towards the bathroom, but at last minute glance over his shoulder before rushing up the stairs. Olivette turns her head away not to draw attention to her brother by staring. She knew all too well what Asher was going to do up there. Watch the video she had way too early this morning. Something she wish she hadn't seen but she also couldn't stop once it started.

The video burns in her mind. Replays over and over on some type of loop. She hates it. She hates seeing it. The way her mother looked so scared and the way her mother was fighting for her life. That person who took her, Olivette had hate. Genuine hate and anger for this person. But also guilt. And remorse. She felt bad for her mother but couldn't say anything. It's killing her. Deeply she wanted to comfort her mother. She wanted to tell her mother how brave she is and glad she's okay and safe. The love this family shared was genuine and raw. Olivette was close to her mother. Deeply close and without her mother Olivette felt sick. Sure her twin brother was there. He'd always be there and that bond between those two could never be broken. But the love and bond between the mother and daughter was significantly more deep and important to both of them than either of them realize and can even admit to one another.

"Mum," Olivette whispers turning her head to the older woman. Olivette's eyes lock onto her mother's heavy tired ones. But nonetheless Alycia smiles lightly towards her daughter.

"Yeah hun?" Alycia whispers, blinking as she looks to her daughter who's sat on the floor.

"I'm going to head to bed," Olivette whispers and pushes herself up off of the floor.

"So soon?" Alycia whispers but yawns right after. A smile inches onto Olivette's lips as she nods. Alycia nods still yawning. When she stops, she chuckles under her breath. "Okay yeah. Bed seems like it'd be a good idea."

Alycia goes to get up. Olivette beats her too it and shakes her head at her mother. "Why don't you stay here with Everlynn so she doesn't feel lonely when she wakes?"

Alycia's fingers are wrapped around the blanket, about to toss it off. Her green eyes dance back and forth between the young girl's matching eyes. But slowly they trail off over to Everlynn who's still fast asleep. "You're right. Alright... Goodnight sweet girl."
