Chapter 10

Everyone pretended to be okay with his arrival until he walked away. The only ones left at the table were Roger and Archer. Adam and Dixon left for the beach while the others parted ways.

" That kid is an annoyance," Archer said taking a sip of his drink

" Yes, it was one of your sons who invited him."

Roger smiled fakely at Archer.

They both turned to stare at the beach in silence.

" Remember when we were friends? How ironic it is that your sons are friends with mine." Roger said getting up from his chair.

" Ancient history." Answered Archer.

" Yeah, something tells me those memories are still vivid in your head." Roger took a seat again in his chair. He is teasing Archer over what he heard last night.

" We were kids back then and everything was an experiment." At that moment things had begun to get heated. " You two are still here." Asher appeared through the doors.

Far from where they were another two were going at each other.

" You invited him over," Jamie said to Adam sounding upset.

He shifted uncomfortably on the floor taking a seat.

" No. Why would I do that? He ruins everything."

Adam moved closer to Jamie.

" You made my brother quite jealous yesterday. He went to tell of that lifeguard or whatever." Jamie's eyes went wide. It was not Adam who threatened Wolly after all.

" He told me it was you." Jamie stood up fast from the sand. Adam laughed and shook his head. " Why would I do that?" The question here is who is telling the truth?

Jamie sure couldn't tell but was not going to put with it. He walked away to search for Cooper. " Well, well look who it is. The traitor and fuck buddy of my buddies." Dixon shouted to him. When walked back Adam got in between.

" Shut up, Dixon." He said taking hold of his neck. And right at that moment behind Jamie appeared the lost one. " Hey, quit you guys," Cooper said walking in front of Jamie. " You three need to leave me alone." Jamie meant it.

The three of them listened to him for once. Adam and Dixon made peace. They played volleyball and drank the days away. Cooper turned into a ghost and was not seen. While Jamie well he stayed in his room.

Two weeks at first looked long and now only one day was left.

Asher had prepared a dinner for the Valdrogen's and Bronson's. Everyone came to dinner even Wolly. Jamie of course sat next to him and boy did they look cute. And next to them sat the one and only Cooper. With the rest of the boys following him. On the other side sat the older gentlemen. Dinner began and so did the drama.

" Jamie, I'm glad Wolly and you turned friends," Asher said smiling widely at them.

" I think they turned more than friends?" Cooper said removing his sunglasses.

" Well, that's nobody's business son." Archer interrupted Jamie.

" Are you jealous son?" Asked Roger to Cooper who sat in front of him.

Jamie beginning to feel embarrassed turned his head to him.

" No. Are you jealous Mr.Bronson?"

Cooper stood up from his chair fixing his pants.

" Alright, that's enough," shouted Archer.

Jamie got up and walked away from the table.

Darell followed right behind him with Stuart.
