Chapter 17

" Mr.Valdrogen, what are you doing here."

asked Jamie kind of nervous with his hand on Jackson's arm.

" The question is how come you two know each other?"

Asher knew this was going to get out of control.

" Why don't you two take a seat and three of you can talk? You three are getting the attention of my guests."

Jamie pulled a chair and so did Jackson right in front of Mr.Valdrogen.

" Did he send you to work for me? Was this a plan of revenge on me? Please enlighten me."

A waiter interrupted serving beer to them.

" He had no clue, I was related to Annalise. We were engaged before I disappeared. When Cooper and Adam told me they had something to do with him. That's when I found out he worked for your company. You should also know my father is well and alive."

Jackson was now tense and the atmosphere got more.

" Ah, yes the pastor. Your father disappeared for some time too. I heard he was in the city and then left without a trace. How can you say he's alive with such certain."

The table was about to break into a fight and broken into pieces.

" You're right. With you and Annalise death is always around. There's only one thing I'm not afraid of you. Neither of my aunts, you know well I'm her favorite."

Mr.Valdrogen called the waiter for another drink.

" That's good. I'm proud of the man you grew to be. Did your fiance or ex-fiance tell you about our moment? We got very close here and even shared this magical kiss. Not as magical as he shared with my sons and employees. Although, it was still so hot."

Jamie then started to remember about that moment. The things Archer told him about Roger and him. He began to wonder if there were all lies.

" I don't believe you," Jackson responded taking a grab of Jamie's hand.

" Well, believe him son. That night, I was there. Well, not visible to them but I did get to see it. Archer kissed him on the mouth and he responded. The kiss was quite animal planet."

Roger said taking a seat beside Archer with a beer.

With anger, Jackson stood up and let go of Jamie's hand.

" You should know that Archer told me both of you fucked. And that he believed he loved you." Jamie said leaving the table and going to look for Jackson.

The whole night he kept looking all over for him. He was nowhere to be found. When midnight hit, Jamie decided to go back to the room. There he found Jackson's stuff gone and the bed a mess. Things had begun to go wrong again.

When he went to the receptionist to ask for him. Asher appeared behind him with the bad news. Jackson left but he wrote a note for you:

Jamie, sometimes I think the universe doesn't want us together. I've fought my addictions for you but fell. Since the day I met you, it was love at first sight. The hell I put you was unfair. I guess you finally got your payback. Sleeping with my cousins and kissing Archer. The day you killed me didn't hurt as much as tonight. Wish you the best in your new life. I am the past now and think of me that way.

He turned folded the note and shoved it inside his pants pockets. As he ran back to the room, Archer was walking from a distance. They froze for a second until Jamie ran the other way. He took a whole turn around to the room.

One minute later, Jamie was already packed and ready to go. When he was about to walk out the doors, Cooper showed up. " Where are you going in this rain?"

Thunder hit out of nowhere with heavy rain. Jamie had only one way of leaving the hotel. " Back to Seattle. Can you take me?" Cooper moved from the door. " We could die in this rain. Why are you in such a hurry to leave?" He shouted in the cold rain with Jamie soaking wet.

" It's complicated, I need to go." Cooper covered both of them with his black button jacket. Both of them could barely run or see where his car was parked. " We need to wait for it to clear a bit," Cooper said as they got in.

The rain didn't seem to stop and got worse by the minute.

Cooper reached back to his bag and opened it. He took two shirts from it. One gray one and one blue one. " Here we need to change our shirts." Jamie couldn't help but look at Cooper removing his shirt. " Stop staring, nothing you haven't seen before. Come on, you already coughing."

Jamie removed his shirt fast and put on his blue dry shirt.

" How long has it been since you and I've been together? Alone in my car like this."

He pushed his seat back and laid back to look at Jamie. Who turned sideways to look at him. " Don't even remember." Cooper smiled and extended his arm to him.

" Push your seat back, it's going to be a while." With his help, Jamie pushed his seat back and laid back like him. " Answer me something?" Cooper said to him. He nodded, " Do you still feel something for me?" Jamie turned his face the other way.

" I've only loved two guys in my life and one of them is YOU."
