Chapter 24

" Jamie, you need to let go of him. He left you, and us, and never came back. It's time for us to move in. My dad has even moved on because Cooper is probably okay. We have many places where he could be. The problem is he doesn't want to be found."

Adam tried to calm him down but failed. They even decided to skip the doctor's appointment. " I feel like I can't live anymore not without him. Don't even feel like I can breathe anymore. Can't even go to sleep without dreaming with him. Why am I so stupid? it's Jackson all over again."

" Oh my God, they arrested my mom." Adam dropped his phone and started the car fast. Jamie stopped crying and realized he was right. " She did it. I was right," Adam almost crashed turning to look at Jamie. " Sh-She couldn't have done that. Cooper probably put that in your mind."

" Adam answer me something. What did Cooper and you argue about that night?"

Jamie still wondered what happened that night.

" He got mad because of the party and of you. I told him that I loved you. And that he didn't deserve you. We told each other horrible things about each other's mother. He is very sensitive when it comes to his mom like me."

Jamie stayed quiet for a second.

" Stop the car. You need to stay away from me." Jamie opened the door and walked as fast as he could. Adam shouted for him but he kept going. A few blocks down, Jamie began to sweat and feel dizzy. It looked like it was going to begin to rain. The moment a drop of water hit his shoulder. Jamie fell to the ground unconscious.

He began to dream again at the beach and this time not with Jackson. " Cooper, where were you." As he turned around, Jamie fell back on the sand. " Jackson, sorry I thought it was Cooper." He helped Jamie back and rain began to fall on them.

" Jamie, you need to let go before you drown again. I know it's not clear right now but don't let go of him. He is the one for you Jamie it's in your path." A wave hit and took Jamie in it. When suddenly he woke up in a familiar bedroom.

Cooper! Cooper! Cooper!

He shouted but the apartment was empty. With only a note left on the table.

Jamie

Please stay here and wait for me to come back. If lucky Cooper might walk through that door. He loved this place and you. I hate to admit but he did love you. This is all my fault and I'm going to fix it. Rest for a little bit and later I will come for you.

Jamie turned to look at the door and waited for Cooper to come in. He waited and waited but gave up. The clock showed it was noon and Jamie was starving. He walked over to the kitchen and made Cooper's favorite salad. Jamie remembered how Cooper would make it so passionately and take a seat on the table shirtless.

Memories started to hit them stronger. When he finished eating he went back to the bedroom. As he opened the closet one of Cooper's jackets fell on him. There was a ring inside of it. Jamie put it on and jumped back on the bed.

When the door opened he got up quickly to check who it was.

" Hi, Jamie." Adam hugged him tightly.

" You thought I was Cooper."

Jamie shook his head and let him go. He took of Cooper's jacket and ring from his hand. " How stupid did I look a few seconds ago."

Adam walked over to the big sofa to take a seat. " Levi confessed my mother paid him to try and kill you. They found proof but knowing my mother she will be freed. Sorry for not believing Cooper or you." Now both of them were broken by different situations.

" We need to get out of this place. You and I Adam."

" If only we could Jamie."

Adam got up and walked away to the bedroom.

" I'm going to take a shower be out in a minute."

Jamie then walked to the bedroom closet. He put the suit jacket back and the ring inside of the pocket. " I will be here on the bed waiting."

Adam's phone soon began to ring but couldn't hear it. Jamie got up to get it but instead saw a message: Cooper was in a vacation home.

Jamie ran into the bathroom and slid open the shower door.

" Cooper is in one of you guy's vacation homes."

Adam pulled a towel fast and covered himself. He checked his phone to see the same message. " Then let's go find him."

Jamie hugged him but realized Adam was shirtless and wet.

" Sorry."

He said running away to the living room.

Adam quickly opened Cooper's closet and took some clothes out.

When he came out in his gray t-shirt and jeans.

Jamie ran to kiss him and not like a peck. A passionate kiss with his heart beating loudly. He was hallucinating it was Cooper without knowing. Adam didn't know what to do but to respond.

" Wait, Jamie it's me, Adam."

He pushed him back and Jamie turned away.

" I'm nervous and...you came out looking like him. What the hell is wrong with me."

Adam put his hand on his shoulder. " Come on, let's go find him."

On their way, they went in search of Cooper Valdrogen.
