Akshavi's POV

I grab the suitcase of the relatives whom I am only meeting for the third time in my whole 23 years of life as I juggle through the crowd trying to get out. The relatives just left me here alone as they rushed outside towards my car with just two suitcase in three of their hands

I drag the three suitcases holding the handle of two of them in one hand while another suitcase in my other hand with a bag perched up on his handle. I have been asking myself why did I ever agree to collect their bags and not just leave them in the middle of the airport, stranded.

Also, I might just strangle the priest who took out the dates for the functions. We have the engagement tomorrow and then a two day break after that we have the sangeet and then the wedding. Who told him to have all the functions this close and apart at the same time?

Seriously, if mummy hadn't asked me to behave I would have left their bags in the airport only and bought myself an expensive coffee as I walked outside in style. I furrowed my eyebrows as I keep walking with an annoyed expression etched on my features

I bump into someone as they also seem to be in a rush holding some bags in their hand. The coffee in his hand trip as he looses balance. I try to help the person but soon realize how full my hands are and I stare at the body of the fallen person whose face stayed hidden as he looked at the floor

"Akshita" I heard the annoyingly chirpy voice of the relative family and I rolled my eyes out of my eyeball. I am not carrying there bag from here on. How can they even not remember my name and just use me like a coolie?

"I am sorry. Unclee!" I said trying to look at the person now laying on the floor but my eyes caught the sight of my relative Uncle who was trying to do god knows what. I rushed towards the door still juggling the suitcases in my hand but not before glancing in the man's direction

"Just wait there" I shouted and ran outside without looking at the man into whom I bumped. A guilty feeling washed over me as I crossed the threshold of the airport. Maybe, I could have stopped and helped that man, it would have been much better than loading there stuff in my car

I open the gate of the house as I walk inside holding just a small backpack and letting the relative's son and the aunty herself handle all the luggage this time. I smirk as I see the aunty making a face as she looked in my direction and I passed her the sweetest smile

"Akshavi" I heard mummy's voice as I walked towards her with slow steps still holding the backpack in my hand. I raised my eyebrows in her direction as she looked at the guests walking behind me with a worried expression

"What are you doing?" mummy hissed in a low voice and I clicked my tongue on the side of my cheek as I slightly moved my iris upwards passing the relatives a look

"I tried being sweet but they don't even remember my name. Also, they were using me I was there coolie" I said and saw mummy look at me with a very tired expression. I know going through me on top of this guests is definitely giving mummy a head ache but I really really tried this time

"Just show them the room and take these to your room on the way upwards" she said and I nodded my head as she pointed towards the stuff and gifts kept near the kitchen. I grabbed the stuff keeping the backpack in that aunt's hand before explaining them about their room for tonight
