Shivali's POV
The cup met my lips as the vapor from it slowly relaxed my senses hitting my freezing nose. The taste of tea lingered on my tongue before I looked in the direction of Saketh as he leaned back on the chair
"Bhabhi, your idea definitely worked besides this tea is way too good" he said with a satisfied smile on his face bringing one onto my lips too. I blinked my eyes in his direction as she relaxed back on the chair
"Your husband worked me way too much this week but your tea definitely helped ease the tension and the throbbing headache" he said taking another sip while I smiled feeling a way of affection towards him
"You know, you reminded me of Akshi way too much today. She used to come back with the same pouty face from her work for the first few months too" I said and he turned to pass a soft glance in my direction
"Why does this balcony look so plain? No offense, I just mean it has a lot of scope to be one of those Pinterest boards balcony" I said, hesitantly while a smile too over his face as he swiped his eyes along the balcony and slowly shrugged
"None of us men are artistic and well Maa never had time for anything" his voice turned lower as he said the last part of the sentence and I blinked pushing a stray strand of my hair behind my ears
I nodded my head moving my eyes along the balcony as the artistic side in me came over and ideas zoomed past one by one. The cold breeze met my face filling my insides with the eerie feeling I always had whenever the brothers talked about their mother
I felt something land on my shoulder and turned to see Saketh pushing a shawl around me and I smiled clutching the corners wrapping myself properly in it. I turned my face to appreciate the gesture before my mobile began ringing
"Thankyou" I said to Saketh pulling my mobile from the table. A smile appeared on my face as Akshi's face flashed on the screen. I excused myself passing a glance in Saketh's direction before answering the call
"Hello" I said pressing the mobile to my ear while I heard some noises from the other side
"Hello, Didi. How are you?" she said with her voice sounding tired and I exhaled a breath watching the fog from my mouth envelope my face
"I am good. But you definitely sound tired" I said passing a small smile in Saketh's direction as he sipped on the tea pushing his head back on the chair looking extremely sleepy
"I am very tired. I have been working since early in the morning and I am pretty sure the food here is not working on my body, also, all the restaurants I tried were very bad" she said, making a frown appear on my face
"Still have not found a cook for yourself?" I asked sipping on the last of the tea left in the cup before pushing it down back on the table.
"No, I was just calling you to send me the recipe of that macaroni that you make. I will be tired to actually cook, cook and I am not ordering again until I get some good restaurant recommendations" she said in an exasperated manner
"Don't talk crazy. Just order something and you can ask Agastya for some recommendations. I told you he is their in Mumbai too" I said in a stern tone while she probably rolled her eyes at the mention of Agastya's name
