Azari: (giggles) It is I , fashion designer extraordinaire Azari. The face of Azari Empire , leading brand in fashion of the century. You asked for it and we delivered. It is the first season of "FASHION EMPIRE; BATTLE OF THE DESIGNERS" and boy oh boy , you are not ready for this . Drama , betrayals , unusual bonds oops! did I spill too much ?( laughs) . Buckle up people and may the best of the best designers in Africa sew their way to the top . Jeez that was horrible (laughs) . Entrance line and confessionals , let's meet our designers ............

Hey world! My name is Mathore Magarette , Mag for short and I'm representing Uganda.........Yes ,yes, yes, the pearl of Africa . I am 24 years old and
already worked with celebrities ..... like
myself (laughs).

Jambo ! My name is Gael ,23 year old
fashion designer in Nairobi ,Kenya .Back in Nairobi ,I'm known for my  exquisite

HEY..... Bervelyn is my name .I'm 23
years old hailing from Abuja Nigeria . I'll
describe my fashion designs as over thetop style extravagant (laughs) .Azari saw
something in me and called me here
hence ready to mop the floor with these
kids (laughs) .Naija no dey carry last.

My name's Omario from Rwanda , 25
years of age and the best designer you

Kay from Botswana here , 24 years old . I designed ....... No! let me rephrase this
statement ( laughs) , I helped in
designing and making of the ground
breaking dress celebrity film actor and multi award winning designer Xilef wore at the Africa NET GALA.

Evan from Cameroon ,26 years old . If this competition was based on looks
alone , your winner is here ( flexes his muscles and winks) . Don't let the
smooth look fool you , I'm very very
talented .

Time to narrow the playing field , this should be a walk in the park ( winks and laughs)

Premadonna is the name , 19 year old
third year fashion design student and designer from Ghana . Although this kid is still in school , she has designed gag worthy dresses. I'm going to dance circles around these other designers sending them home one after the other
( laughs) . Don't tell them I said that
( laughs)

[ENTRY NO.8]

UGH! Do I need an introduction ?? They know me , they know they
dooooo..... ( laughs)

Hey world , Nindi is my name , your 22 year young famous designer from South Africa. You might have seen my works on "Africa's next big trend " impressive right ???? Crown me already .........
( laughs)

[ENTRY NO.9]

Watch your back ! Zambia's here ......

[ CONFESSIONAL]

Hola! Heya! Everything ..... (laughs)...My name is Nick , the pride from Zambia , 26 years old . Uhmmmm one interesting thing about me will be
( whispers) ...................

Line them up honey , I'm ready to school these kids ( laughs)

[CONFESSIONAL]
The name is Niel , heavyweight champ from the Gambia ( laughs) .I am 20 years old and the most talented designer ever ..they can argue with their talents ( laughs) . (whispers) we'll edit that out . I might come off as Savage due to my brutally honest compliments ( winks) but I'm very nice , at least for now ( laughs)
( laughs).

All the designers meet themselves in the design room getting to know one another then Azari walks in .......

AZARI: Welcome designers to season 1 of
the show " FASHION EMPIRE; BATTLE OF THE DESIGNERS" . Here, your design prowess will be tested and pushed to the limit . The winner of "FASHION EMPIRE; BATTLE OF THE DESIGNERS" gets $100,000
cash prize , feature in Azari magazines , a  scholarship internship at Azari Empire , a brand new .... bicycle (laughs) . You didn't think I'd say a car did you ??? kidding ! a brand new car supply of design materials and the bragging rights as season 1 winner of "FASHION EMPIRE; BATTLE OF THE
DESIGNERS"

DESIGNERS: (Chaotic shouts)
woooooowww! woooo!! ( claps)

AZARI: OH! OH! there's a twist though .... after every runway , there'll be two top designers and two bottom designers..... of the two top designers , one will emerge as the top most designer and the fate of the two bottom designers will rest in the hands of that top most designer. The top designer every week will get $150 and

the power to eliminate one of the two bottom designers.

DESIGNERS : (Gasps and murmurs)

AZARI : This week , your first task is to create (pauses) .............. it's a free week . Go and get accustomed to your new abode. Next week , the pressure will be on ! ..... Adios!

[BEHIND THE SCENES ;UNDESIGNED]

After an episode , we get to witness our designers behind the scenes in what we like to call "UNDESIGNED". Here, we get all the juicy gossips , fights and dramaaa!!!

[ 5 hours after they got into their mansion]

[KITCHEN]

BERVELYN (NIG) : Premadonna ,you are just 19 and the tallest girl here ( laughs) do you feel any form of intimidation being the youngest and let me say maybe the least experienced?

PREMADONNA (GHA): Uhmm, intimidated ?No ... scared ? mm maybe ...
it's hard being far away from home . I haven't seen any designs as of yet but personality-wise , I'm not intimidated ...

(Omario walks by)

OMARIO (RWA): Girl , I must say , you are pretty .... have to admit , caught my attention the moment you walked in
( smiles)

BERVELYN (NIG) : Relationships are already start...ing ( laughs)

OMARIO (RWA) : OH no! no! nothing of that sort , just appreciating the creator's work of art ... I have to visit Ghana and
hopefully Nigeria after the show and hopefully y'all will host me..............

[CAMERA SHIFTS TO SOMEWHERE IN

ONE OF THE BEDROOMS]

GAEL (KEN) :Sooo.....,what do you think or let me put it this way , your thoughts on the other designers ? ........

MAG ( UGA): Some of them have that grand diva personality , like uhmm this guy .... Niel , Nindi and Bervelyn ... I hope they live up to their personalities though .... just saying ( laughs)

GAEL( KEN): I think we should form an alliance . It wouldn't surprise me if some have already formed an alliance . With us together , we'll take out the competition one after the other ( giggles) . I'm really looking forward to our first challenge .

MAG( UGA): Same here , we'll have each other's back . My prayer is for no one to stress me out in this house because they won't like me if they do ..... ....
please help me straighten out my duvet at the other end . Thank you so much .
