My girl ,Gael just left .... oh well ! ( laughs) ..... kidding.... I'm sad she had to go but I wasn't ready to leave either . One of us had to go . I'm sorry but that's what you get for stabbing me in the back along with Evan . ..........
[ Niel ( Gambia 🇬🇲) confessional]
Hm! ... let's check the stats . Omario , Nindi Premadonna and Mag have bagged a win each ... Mag again is making a name for herself sending designers home and here I am , the safest designer here . I'm getting frustrated actually... I'm now getting Berv's rant episodes ago but ugh ... I have to step up my game .
[ Omario ( Rwanda 🇷🇼) confessional]
The house is pretty empty at this point . Five designers standing ...... everyone seems quite happy and tensed ... I don't know if you get it , but yeah ..... the hustle is real .
[ Premadonna ( Ghana 🇬🇭) confessional]
The only thing I'm getting scared of here is the fact Mag keeps making it out successfully in the design battles ...... .... This girl might subsequently win this competition if no one stops here streak. ( laughs)
[ Nindi ( South Africa 🇿🇦) confessional]
Everyone at this point is a potential winner ...... I'd say my biggest threat , you know , at first , was Niel .. but now hm ! There's Premadonna , Omario ... Niel and Mag ... Lord ! ... .. ( runs her hand in her hair )
[ CAMERA CUTS]
The designers make their way into the design room to get started on their challenge ........
[The camera cuts to the designers, who look nervous and excited as Azari walks in]
Azari : Welcome, designers, to this week's challenge , Fractured Fairytales! You'll be taking classic fairytales and turning them on their head, creating new and unexpected stories through your designs.
[The designers nod, some looking inspired, others looking worried]
Azari : You have one day to create your looks. And remember, the judges are looking for creativity, originality, and a clear understanding of the theme. Good luck, designers!
[The designers start brainstorming, sketching out ideas and grabbing fabrics]
[The camera cuts to the designers frantically working on their designs, with Mag looking particularly confident]
[ DESIGN ROOM]
Mag: [to the camera] I've got this one in the bag. My design is going to be so fractured, so unexpected... the judges won't know what hit them. ( winks )
[The camera cuts to Niel, who looks concerned]
Niel: [to the camera] I'm not sure about this theme... I don't want to create something too literal. I need to think outside the box... ..... maybe literal might get me safe but ughhh!!! Better safe than sorry ......
[ The camera pans to Omario, who looks relaxed ]
Omario: [to the camera] I'm feeling pretty chill about this challenge. I know I've got the skills to create something amazing. But at the same time, I know I need to step up my game. I don't want to be seen as just the 'safe' designer. I want to win....
Premadonna: [to the camera] ....... I don't know, this 'it' factor. I need to find a way to take the challenge down a peg. Sooo many fairytales to choose from .....
Nindi: [to the camera] I'm so over being seen as the 'nice girl'. I'm a talented designer, and I deserve to win. I'm going to take some risks with this challenge and show the judges what I'm really capable of. Watch out, everyone.......just watch out.... ( laughs )
