Mag , Mag ,Mag ..... that diva has been in the bottom many times than she's placed high ( laughs). Low-key, I hate to admit it, but she's proven to be a design assassin .... just like every good and bad thing , they come to an end . Oh dear , your end is near (smirks) ...
[ Omario ( Rwanda 🇷🇼]) confessional]
At this point , there's no clear front runner or someone viewers can say mm yep , he or she is sure to be in the finale." Today, you are on top. Tomorrow, you are in the bottom facing off against Mag ( laughs) .... that's shady ( laughs) .
[ CAMERA CUTS ; COMMERCIAL BREAK]
[ The remaining six designers walk into the design room ]
Azari : ( looks straight at the camera) welcome to Fashion Empire; Battle of the designers , the ultimate fashion competition ! In this episode, our designers will embark on a mythical journey, creating cohesive collections inspired by legendary creatures of the world.
( turns to the designers) You will be working in teams of two and each team will have a "muse".. a world-renowned cosplayer to guide you . Nindi ! , being the winner of last week's challenge, you get to pair up your colleagues.......
. Let's go !!
Nindi ( South Africa 🇿🇦) : Ookay , team 1 I pick Premadonna ( Ghana 🇬🇭) and Omario ( Rwanda 🇷🇼) ..... ( they move to stand next to each other ) .
Team 2 , Mag ( Uganda 🇺🇬), and Gael ( Kenya 🇰🇪) ... then yep , I pick Niel ( Gambia 🇬🇲) .
Azari: Interesting .... for Team 1 , your muse is Luna the Mermaid, Team 2 , you'll be working with Kato the Dragon Slayer, and finally , Team 3 , you'll work with Aurora the Phoenix
( The cosplayers make their way into the design room )
With fourty eight ( 48) hours to create their collections , the pressure is on !!!!!!!
[ DESIGN PROCESS]
[The camera pans to Team 1, consisting of Premadonna and Omario, standing in front of their workspace.]
Premadonna ( Ghana 🇬🇭): "I'm thinking we create a mermaid-inspired collection with a modern twist. We can use sustainable fabrics and add some edgy accessories."
Omario ( Rwanda🇷🇼) : "I love it! And we can play with textures, combining smooth and scaly elements to give it a unique look."
[Meanwhile, Team 2, consisting of Mag and Gael, is brainstorming ideas for Kato the Dragon Slayer.]
Mag ( Uganda 🇺🇬) : "I want to create a collection that's bold and fierce, but I'm not sure what direction to take it."
Gael ( Kenya 🇰🇪): I think we should focus on the dragon slayer aspect, but Mag, you're not giving me much to work with. What's your vision?
Mag ( 🇺🇬 Uganda) : I...I don't know. I just know I want it to be big and impactful.
Gael ( 🇰🇪Kenya ) : That's not enough, Mag. We need a clear direction, or we'll never meet the deadline.
[Team 3, consisting of Nindi and Niel, is working smoothly, inspired by Aurora the Phoenix.]
Nindi( South Africa 🇿🇦): I'm thinking we create a collection that's both fiery and elegant, with a focus on rebirth and renewal."
Niel ( Gambia 🇬🇲) : Yes ...... ! What if we use a mix of warm and cool colours to represent the phoenix's transformation?
Azari (voiceover): As the teams work on their collections, Team 2 is struggling to find their footing. Will they be able to come together and create a legendary collection, or will their lack of direction be their downfall?
