Azari: Welcome to the ultimate finale of Fashion Empire: Battle of the Designers! Our final three designers, Premadonna, Omario, and Nindi, have made it through the tough challenges.... but , they are yet to face the toughest yet . Today , we will crown the ultimate winner of this season's Fashion Empire ; Battle of the designers...
[ CAMERA CUTS; CONFESSIONALS]
Premadonna (Ghana 🇬🇭): I've grown so much throughout this competition. I'm ready to give it my all and make my country proud...... Coming into the finale with the most wins and being the youngest hm ! There's a crushing weight of expectation I have to meet but .... let's see ( laughs )
Omario (Rwanda 🇷🇼): I've faced ups and downs, but I've never given up. I'm here to dice these girls ( laughs) ... I'm hungry for this crown . We are laying all our cards tonight . Now , or never !!
Nindi (South Africa 🇿🇦): This journey has been incredible. I'm proud of myself, no matter what happens.... just like everyone else in this finale , I too want to win . I didn't come all the way into the finale to get a placement no uh , I came to win .
[ BACK TO THE DESIGN ROOM]
Azari: Now, for the final challenge........The theme for the first task is ............ 'Fame Game'! You'll each have to create a look that embodies the glamour and allure of fame....... ..... .... Get your machines ready , and may the best designer , WIN !
[ DESIGN PROCESS]
( The designers get to work on their collections...... whiles Omario seems caught up in his design , Nindi is meticulously cutting off edges and Premadonna seems to be struggling to keep up with her latest creation, "Paparazzi Chic," which lies before her, a mess of tangled sequins and frayed seams)
Premadonna ( Ghana 🇬🇭) : (frustrated) Why, oh why, won't you cooperate?!
She attempts to pin a stray sequin, but it pops off, rolling under the worktable.....
Premadonna ( Ghana🇬🇭) : (exasperated) Seriously?! You're fighting me on this?!
[ Nindi ( South Africa 🇿🇦) confessional]
I look over the next design station and the pressure seems to be getting to Premadonna. She is all over the place . The girl is a "growl" away from crying ... sad , but hey! It's the finale .....
With a deep breath, she reaches for her trusty glue gun, resigned to MacGyvering the design.
Premadonna ( Ghana🇬🇭) : (muttering) Glue, the fashion designer's best friend... and worst enemy.
Nindi ( South Africa 🇿🇦) : Girl , are you seriously glue - gunning your piece ??? That's a huge risk you are taking there ....
Omario ( Rwanda 🇷🇼) : ( sighs ) ....
[ Omario ( Rwanda 🇷🇼) confessional]
It's sad seeing Premadonna struggle at this point in the competition. This glue thing can either be a yay ! Or a huge blow up .... ... let me just focus on my piece ... ( laughs)
Premadonna ( Ghana🇬🇭) : (proudly) You may not be perfect, but you're mine. And on that runway, you'll shine like the hot mess you are!
Nindi ( South Africa 🇿🇦) : Well , someone's got to be third though ......( laughs )
[ RUNWAY SHOW]
( Azari opens the show with a speech welcoming everyone to the season Finale. While he is in at it , he introduces the judges , Xilef and Myra )
Azari: And now, the moment we've all been waiting for... Let's see what our designers have created!...... let the runway begin !!!
