𝑩𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆...?

"Itachi," Tou-san called. "Yes Tou-san?" I replied. I watched as he left the dining area, stepping outside for what seemed like an eternity when suddenly, he came back in with Izumi.

"Izumi?" I asked, unsure of why she's here. She merely waved and stood up straight, next to Tou-san. "Itachi, she shall be your future wife, do you accept?" I widened my eyes by a fraction, which didn't go unnoticed by him.

He raised a brow, waiting for my answer. Before I could get words out Kaa-chan beat me to the punch. "Fugaku, dear what are you doing?" She asked. Tou-san folded his arms as he looked at her. "Mikoto, don't concern yourself in this matter."

"He's my son just as much as he is yours Fugaku!" She yelled, startling Izumi.
"Mikoto..." He warned. "I accept, Tou-san." I said, shocking Kaa-chan and Izumi. "Itachi, are you sure about this? You're only 13!" Kaa-chan yelled.

Just as I was about to reassure her Tou-san spoke once more. "He won't marry straight away, Mikoto. He'll get married when he is of age, until then he shall be engaged." I saw Kaa-chan visibly relax but still had a bit of worry in her expression. "Itachi..." I could hear the worry in her voice.

I walked over to her and silently hugged her. "I'm sure Kaa-chan, besides Izumi is a nice person." I said . It seems she had forgotten about Izumi as she turned to see that indeed Izumi was right there standing next to Tou-san.

"Oh my, how rude of me! Izumi please take a seat!" Kaa-chan offered. Izumi shyly sat on the sofa. Tou-san and I followed suit with me choosing to sit next to her. Kaa-chan left to prepare us drinks while I decided to get to know my fiancé better.

"Why did you agree to this, Itachi?" She asked, looking away from me.
"I could ask you the very same question." I raised a brow. She blushed as she looked at me and said, "Because I like you..." If it wasn't for my training on controlling emotions I would've had a shocked expression on my face.

"Izumi, I can't say that I like you," I started. "But, I'll try my best to reciprocate your feelings." I finished, holding her hand. She nodded as her blush deepened. Unknown to me, Tou-san was watching us interact with a small,almost unnoticeable smirk.

Kaa-chan soon brought our refreshments and decided to have a chat with Izumi. All seemed to be going well when Sasuke suddenly ran in the house with a blonde(?) haired girl. "Sasuke! Wait up!" She yelled as Sasuke ran through the hallway. "Sasuke." Tou-san spoke. The laughter that rang through the house quickly dissipated and I saw otouto stop in his tracks with the blonde haired girl beside him.

"Sasuke Uchiha, what is this behavior?" Tou-san said as he folded his arms. "Tou-san I was just-" "Just what? Playing around instead of studying?" Tou-san said.

"N-no Tou-san..." Otouto spoke. "And who's this girl next to you?" Tou-san asked. "Greetings Mr Uchiha, I'm Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke's best friend. I apologize for my intrusion." Naruto introduced.

Tou-san merely nodded and excused otouto and Naruto to wherever they went off to. Izumi and I fell back into a conversation as Kaa-chan and Tou-san were absorbed in their own.

The two 9 year olds ran off to Sasuke's bedroom. Sasuke opened the door for her, then soon closed it once they were both inside.

Naruto soon settled on the bed as Sasuke took out his homework. "What was that?" Naruto asked. "What,this? It's called homework you moron-" "No idiot, I'm talking about you, are you afraid of your father?" She inserted.
"..." Sasuke looked away from her with a scowl.

"Sasuke, you can trust me." She reassured. He sighed and sat on the bed beside her. "Tou-san thinks I'm not good enough." He said bitterly. She gasped and hit hit arm lightly. "Don't say that!" She scolded. He smiled lightly.

Naruto was the only one who could break his mask, and it amazed him each time. "I overheard him speaking to Kaa-chan the other night, they spoke of Nii-san and his 'amazing achievements' and about how my achievements are 'underwhelming' in comparison." He said growing angrier with each passing minute.

Naruto held his hand, seeing that this was a touchy subject for him she didn't want to force him. "He said that he wished I was more like Nii-san, that I wasn't so... disappointing." He was holding back tears at this point. He quickly turned away from her but that was futile as she hugged him from behind.

"N-Naruto what are you doing?" He asked. "Uhm I'm hugging you...?" She replied. He just shook his head and smiled. "You're impossible." She smiled and said "You put up with it though."

"Can't argue with that." He replied. "But anyway we have work to do, wouldn't want to give Tou-san another reason to be disappointed in me." He said, rolling his eyes. Naruto laughed as she got off the bed. "Alright." She dusted herself of the non-existent dust on her uniform as she went to help her best friend with his homework.

"Bye Izumi." I waved. "Bye Itachi! I'll see you around!" She yelled from a distance. I merely smiled a little and headed back inside.

"No Sasuke I need to go!" I heard the blonde girl, Naruto yell. "But it's still early." Otouto reasoned. "Early!? It's 18:00 (6:pm) Sasuke!" She yelled back, honestly this is all so tiring... "Sasuke she's right, it's quite late." I stepped in.
Sasuke slightly rolled his eyes and said "Fine, go home then, it's not like I'll miss you or something... " He whispered. "Thank you!" She sighed, she then quickly side-hugged him and ran out with her bag in hand.

Otouto scoffed and walked back to his room. I sighed and headed off to the bedroom. Once I closed the door I plopped on my bed. 'Today was quite a long day...' I thought to myself. I switched off the lights and slept all my problems away.
