"It's your birthday in two days, how do you feel?" I asked as we walked around the premises. "I'm quite excited actually, I mean who wouldn't? It's my birthday." She smiled. I chuckled as I looked on for anyone near, when I found that no one was around, I held her hand gently. "Ita-kun, what if someone sees us?" She asked. I merely brushed off her concerns.

"What do you want to do for your birthday? Any idea you may have I'll get it done." I asked as I led her to a nearby bench. "Well I was thinking of a whole day together, no outside distractions." She looked down with a light blush on her cheeks. I looked at her for a second before I settled for looking at her hair.

"I may not be able to give you that wish on your birthday but the weekend is still an option, is that alright with you?" I asked as she looked at me. "Mhm that's fine, as long as I can spend time with you." She nodded. "Alright, but is that truly all you want?" I asked again. "Yes, it is, you don't have to fuss so much." She giggled softly. I smiled before I checked the time. "Our classes are about to begin, let's go Izumi." I said as I stood up. She stood up after me and we walked back to class in idle chatter.

"Mikoto," He called. I feigned ignorance as I continued on with my duties. "Mikoto." He called once more. I spared him a glance then went back to my duties. I soon heard footsteps before I felt cold hands wrapped around my wrist.

"What is it?" I asked. "Let's talk." I raised my eyebrow. "Please." He said. I  sighed as I stopped what I was doing. He pulled me to the couch and never let go of my wrist. "I don't like the distance between us." He said. "Look I know you don't like the... attitude I have towards Sasuke. Although I believe my thoughts aren't exactly wrong, I'm willing to atleast meet you halfway. Just, please don't give me the cold shoulder, I can't stand it." He held my hand softly.

"I don't like how you speak about our son, I've expressed that more than once. I've heard your...critics but I feel like you could express it better, softer Fugaku." I explained as I looked at him. He nodded. "I appreciate you stepping up and acknowledging your mistakes, and I apologize for how I handled my emotions. I just felt like there was no way of getting through to you without showing you how I felt." I explained softly. I felt him squeeze my hand reassuringly.

"I understand, I'll try to be more understanding of your and Sasuke's feelings. Are we back to normal?" He asked. I smiled and nodded softly. Without much delay he pulled me closer and kissed me softly. "Oh?" My smile widened. I gasped slightly as I felt myself being lifted off the ground.
"Fugaku!" I yelped in surprise as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"I've missed this for a full week, allow me this much dear." He whispered as he took me upstairs.
I sighed lovingly as he closed the bedroom door.

"H-hi Naruto." I turned to see Hinata behind me. "Oh hi Hinata! How are you?" I hugged her. I saw her face redden at an alarming rate. "I-im f-fine and y-ou?" She stuttered. I smiled softly as I held her hand. "I'm fine, come on let's go, are you ready?" I asked as I got ready to drag her away.

"Y-yes I am-" "Without me?" Sasuke interrupted. We looked at him for a second, before we focused on each other. "Anyway Hina I'm the one buying today, so what do you want?" I asked. "N-nothing–" "Are you sure? I can honestly take care of it." I asked again. She stayed silent for a second before she sighed.

"Al-right, if i-its okay wi-th y-you I'd l-like so-me sweets." She stuttered. "Well consider it done." I smiled. "Naru, what about me?" Sasuke asked. "Well, fine what do you want?" I asked. He smiled. "The same as Hinata." He said. "Alright let's go now." I smiled as we all walked out together.
